Tammy Slaton is engaged!
The “1,000-lb. Sisters” star let the news slip while appearing on the Tuesday, June 24 episode of “A Creative Chaos.”
It was only just a couple of months ago that Slaton revealed she was dating Andrea Dalton.
While speaking with host Hunter Ezell, he asked what Slaton does for fun while not filming.
“Me and my fiancée, we just chill at home,” she began.
The revelation caused Ezell to stop Slaton and ask for clarification on the bombshell announcement. “Hold on, you said fiancée?” he questioned.
She added that the two will walk around stores to get exercise. She used Walmart as an example.
Ezell commented on how happy Slaton looked.
“Look at you lighting up right now,” he said and asked Slaton what her name was. She responded Andrea. The reality star also had a silver necklace with her fiancée’s name on it.
The 38-year-old even showed off her new bling for the cameras. “Dang, you hold that in a certain light, I go blind,” Ezell said.
Slaton has yet to make any formal announcement regarding her engagement.
Dalton Recently Appeared on the Show
Fans only recently got a glimpse into the couple’s relationship.
When Slaton broke the news, she told cameras, “There’s something I haven’t told my family. Amy’s not the only one that’s been seeing somebody new.”
She said she was worried about how her family might react.
“The person I’m dating is a woman,” she added. “So I haven’t told my family because my family’s gonna have something to say about it.”
She ended up having nothing to worry about as her family told her that they just wanted her to be happy.
One of her sisters, Amanda Halterman, told her she just wants the best for Slaton.
“If she makes you happy … that’s all we want for each other is just to be happy. That’s all,” Halterman said.
The Two Met on a Dating App
Dalton revealed how the two ended up meeting while appearing on the show.
“Tammy and I met on a dating app,” Dalton began. “I had just got on there. I wasn’t on there very long, and I saw her and she saw me and we just started talking, and it’s been, like, every day since.”
The two have now been together for close to three years, per Slaton’s recent podcast appearance.
Slaton was previously married to Caleb Willingham, who died in 2023 at the age of 40.
