Two recent winners of NBC’s “The Voice” will appear on the show’s star-studded season 27 finale, airing live on May 20, 2025.
Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood will perform his new single, and season 24 winner Michael Huntley will host a live red carpet special via social media. In addition to the returning winners, multiple past coaches are scheduled to perform, too.
Bryce Leatherwood Just Released His Debut Album Over 2 Years After Winning ‘The Voice’
Leatherwood, 25, will perform his new single “God Made” on “The Voice” season 27 finale.
The country singer won “The Voice” in December 2022 with Blake Shelton as his coach. He signed a record deal with Mercury Nashville in the fall of 2023 and moved to Nashville, according to NBC. His debut, self-titled album was released on May 16, featuring 12 tracks including the previously-released singles “Neon Does,” “The One My Daddy Found,” “Where the Bar Is,” and “The Finger.”
On May 14, when Leatherwood appeared on “The Today Show with Jenna & Friends,” Shelton sent a surprise message, telling Leatherwood, “Man, it still seems like literally yesterday that I watched you win ‘The Voice,’ and I’m still just as proud of you today. Go get em’ brother!”
Leatherwood called Shelton — who will also perform on the season 27 finale — “the greatest guy” and told host Jenna Bush Hager, “He really told me, ‘Man, just be yourself and people will fall in love with it,’ and it’s been true ever since.”
In addition to Shelton, past coaches Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, and Chance The Rapper are also scheduled to perform.
Huntley Will Host ‘The Voice’ Finale Red Carpet After Show
Meanwhile, Huntley, 35, won “The Voice” exactly one year after Leatherwood. He will also return to the show to host the TikTok Livestream, reporting from the red carpet and interviewing the season 27 winner and their coach.
Huntley will go live on “The Voice” TikTok account at the very end of the show, at 11 p.m. Eastern time.
The singer, who won “The Voice” in December 2023, posted news of his fun gig on social media. When “The Voice” host Carson Daly saw it on Instagram, he commented, “Let’s gooooo!!! 🔥🔥”
“The Voice” two-night finale starts on May 19 at 8 p.m. Eastern time, with the top 5 contestants each performing two songs — one uptempo tune and one ballad, according to TV Insider. On the second finale night, May 20, Daly will host a recap at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and then the live two-hour finale kicks off at 9 p.m. Eastern time.
