Hoda Kotb has officially entered the chat. After stepping away from NBC’s “Today” show earlier this year, she’s now reportedly on the shortlist to replace Clarkson as host. According to Page Six, Kotb is “well-liked by higher-ups” at the network, and honestly, that tracks. She’s been a daytime TV staple for over two decades, and people love her. She’s warm, upbeat, and brings the kind of good vibes that daytime audiences eat up.

And let’s be real: this gig would be a better lifestyle match. According to Page Six, someone close to the action even pointed out that a talk show would be a more flexible schedule compared to the brutal early-morning grind she had at “Today.” Yep. That checks out.
