Gracee Shriver, a contestant on season 17 of “The Voice,” married her longtime love Keaton Ranallo in what she called a “boujee boot country” ceremony.
The country singer shared the details of her nuptials with Us Weekly, including how eager she was to walk down the aisle. “I’ve been used to ‘pre-show’ jitters my whole life, but that morning was a different kind of feeling,” Shriver, 22, said of her wedding day. “The kind of nervous excitement that makes you feel on top of the world.”
Shriver continued, “I couldn’t wait to marry my best friend. I know with him, that feeling won’t ever fade.”
The happy couple tied the knot in their hometown of Owasso, Oklahoma where they first met as high schoolers. “Every Friday night our ‘date night’ was him watching me at the local BBQ joint while I played my set,” Shiver shared.
Gracee Shriver’s Biggest Supporter
Shriver was just 16 years old when she appeared on “The Voice” and wowed everyone with her rendition of “Rainbow” by Kacey Musgraves. The teen was sought-after by coaches Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani, but ultimately ended up honing her country vibes with Blake Shelton.
The singer placed in the top 16 on the show and her career continued to flourish. Shriver worked on her music and performed while attending Belmont University in Tennessee. Ranallo was studying in a different state, but the pair stayed together and he remained her biggest supporter.
The couple FaceTimed before each of Shriver’s performances, and eventually Ranallo joined her in Tennessee. It was that move that solidified Shriver’s feelings for her man.
“I knew Keaton was the one when he picked up everything and moved across the country for me to chase my dream,” she revealed. “He left everything he knew without hesitation, and is my biggest encourager.”
Gracee Shriver’s Other Exciting News
In addition to being a newlywed, Shriver has something else to celebrate. Her new single, titled “Rich” drops on July 11. The song, which stays true to the singer’s country roots, is deeply personal to her, as she explained it was “inspired by her hardworking parents.”
Shriver teased the song in an adorable Instagram reel she filmed with her new hubby. In the short clip, the couple is seen out to lunch with a table full of food. Shriver opens her wallet with a worried expression on her face, only for Ranallo to save the day by picking up the tab.
It’s clear this cute couple is in it for the long haul!
