Rapper Kendrick Lamar will headline the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show with R&B artist SZA as his special guest. No other performers have been confirmed for the show, but it’s always possible that a surprise guest will show up.
Could it be Taylor Swift? Some of her fans are hopeful.
One X user pointed out: “There’s speculation that Taylor Swift might make a surprise appearance at the Super Bowl halftime show since Kendrick Lamar was featured on her ‘Bad Blood’ remix, which was a big hit in 2015. Besides, she’s already going to be there anyway.”
A Swift fan wondered on X, “What will we do if Kendrick Lamar brings out Taylor Swift for a little ‘Bad Blood’ moment during the Super Bowl halftime show?”

Another answered, “I’m watching just in case, cause I know that if I’m not already watching I’ll miss it.”

However, many fans agreed that Swift is just there to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce. “I don’t think she would do that. She wouldn’t want to make it about her,” one person commented. “It’s about Travis and the Chiefs and I don’t think she would mess with that.”
On Reddit, a Swift fan predicted: “Kendrick will perform ‘Bad Blood’ at the Super Bowl and bring out Taylor Swift.”

Patrick Mahomes Said It Would be ‘Hard’ for Taylor Swift to Perform During Super Bowl Halftime Show
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared his thoughts on why a Swift appearance during the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show was not very likely.
“As long as Trav’s playing and we’re in the Super Bowl, that’s going to be hard for her to do the halftime show,” Mahomes said during a February 3 press conference.
“So hopefully Trav keeps playing and we keep making it to the Super Bowl,” he added.
While it’s unlikely that she’ll make a surprise appearance during the halftime show, Swift’s fans will no doubt see plenty of the singer as she cheers on Kelce and the Chiefs.
