Taylor Swift is speaking out on the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles — and also giving back. She shared the organizations that she’s donated to for wildfire relief and urged her fans to help if they can.
Taylor Swift Donates to 10 LA Wildfire Relief Effort Organizations
On January 16, Swift took to her Instagram Stories to shine a spotlight on the need to help with the LA wildfire relief efforts.
She has personally donated to 10 organizations and urged her fans to do the same, listing the organizations she supported.
“The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold,” she noted in her Stories. “So much suffering, loss and destruction.”
Swift, who was a mega mentor on “The Voice,” continued, “As so many people embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild.”
Swift added, “These are the organizations I’ve donated to. If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do.”
The singer listed the following organizations:

- California Community Foundation Fund
- Direct Relief
- Greater Los Angeles Education Foundation
- Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles
- Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
- Los Angeles Unified School District Education Foundation Emergency Relief Fund
- MusiCares
- Pasadena Educational Foundation Eaton Fire Response Fund
Swift did not indicate how much money she donated to the organizations.
One of the organizations, Direct Relief, shared a message of gratitude for Swift. CEO Dr. Byron Scott wrote on X: “Direct Relief is deeply grateful to Taylor Swift for her extraordinary generosity and support for its wildfire response efforts. Her compassion and commitment to communities across Southern California impacted by these devastating fires is inspiring.”
Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez Have Also Donated
Swift, of course, isn’t the only celebrity who has donated to help support the communities impacted by the tragedy.
Beyonce’s BeyGood Foundation donated $2.5 million. “Los Angeles we stand with you. 🫶🏽,” the organization shared in a January 12 Instagram post. “BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars.”
The caption noted, “The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.”
Jennifer Lopez also stepped up to help those in need in Los Angeles. The former “American Idol” judge donated to Los Angeles marketing agency the A List, which was collecting clothing and essentials for those in need.
The agency shared Lopez’s generosity in their January 15 Instagram Stories. “We got the most incredible, generous, beautiful note from Jennifer Lopez. We got the most incredible amount of stuff, the hugest amount of donations,” the organization shared. “So A) Oh my god, Jennifer Lopez, you’re amazing. B) People are asking how we’re doing. This is all incredibly grassroots.”
The organization expressed their thanks, saying, “Beyond grateful for your generous donation.”
