Fans Can’t Get Enough of Seeing Snoop Dogg With His Grandkids: VIDEO

Before starting to film a new season of “The Voice” on July 7, 2025, Snoop Dogg soaked up quality time with his family over the holiday weekend. As usual, the rapper and entrepreneur shared an assortment of photos and videos via social media — but it was the glimpses of him in his role as a doting grandpa that sent fans swooning.

In 2024, the music mogul said on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” that his grandchildren, who often call him Papa Snoop, “are my everything, because they all individually get a piece of my heart and they’re different.”

Snoop has three grown kids with his wife Shante Broadus — sons Cordé and Cordell, and daughter Cori, per NBC, which also reported he shares son Julian Corrie Broadus from a past relationship with Laurie Helmond.

The dad of four also now has seven grandkids, per People. Zion is the oldest, at 10, followed by Elleven, Cordoba, Sky, Chateau, Symphony Sol, and the youngest, Codi, born to daughter Cori in February 2025. Snoop’s eighth grandchild died at just 10 days old in 2019, according to CNN.

Snoop shared multiple posts with some of his grandkids over the 4th of July weekend, including from a family photo shoot and home videos set to music.

“I’m so thankful for my family especially my grand babies all of them,” he captioned one, and wrote on another, “Anything for my grandkids 🥰💕‼️🙏🏾💘”

Thousands of fans have swooned over seeing Snoop snuggling and joking around with the kids, leaving comments about how lucky they are to have him in their life.

“Imagine snoop being your grandpa,” one wrote. “That’s the coolest grandparent ever lol!

Others have expressed how glad they are to see Snoop Dogg enjoying grandparenthood, including one who commented, “Family is everything! Sounds like you’ve unlocked next-level joy with those grandkids.”

Another wrote, “Isn’t it wonderful now that you have the time? You don’t want to miss a minute ha🙌❤️”

Snoop also shared a photo on the 4th with two of his granddaughters and his dad — and their great-grandfather — Vernell Varnado.

Known to many fans as Poppa Snoop — he received his third Purple Heart on Veteran’s Day in November 2024 in honor of his military service and wounds he suffered during the Vietnam War. He was honored at an event with city officials in Atlanta, including Mayor Andre Dickens, and presented with a mayoral proclamation honoring his bravery and service.

Varnado wasn’t heavily involved in Snoop’s upbringing, according to People. His mom, Beverly Tate, raised him and his two brothers in Long Beach, California, and was married to his stepfather until 1975. But they reconnected when Snoop was around 12, and he still frequently features his dad on social media, sharing Varnado’s posts in his Instagram Stories, and collaborating on events.
