Renzo’s Fate on ‘The Voice’

Now let’s get into “The Voice” finale. Did Renzo win or not?

The answer is … No. He came in third place. It was Adam David, the man with the final Instant Save, who took home the win.

Renzo was the first of the contestants to perform a duet with his coach on the finale. He took the stage with coach John Legend to perform the Harry Styles hit song “As It Was.”

Jaelen was the second contestant to perform with his coach, Kelsea Ballerini, and then Adam David. David took the stage with his coach Michael Buble. Buble had two contestants left in the competition who made it to the finale. the other was Jaydn Cree.

Renzo said his coach “is one of the swaggiest in the game” before receiving the final results. As for his coach John Legend, he said he loved Renzo’s “attention to detail” and that he always delivers when it comes to his performances.

Legend will not be a coach on the show next season, but that doesn’t mean he’s gone for good. Many celebrity coaches come and go, depending on the season.

Next season of the show will air in Fall 2025 with all alums as coaches. Michael Buble will be the only season 27 judge to move on to season 28 as a coach again. The other judges for season 28 are former coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg.
