One young Morgan Wallen fan had an unforgettable night at a concert stop in Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” Tour – and he wasn’t even in the audience!
The season six contestant on “The Voice” was between songs at a concert in Santa Clarita, California when he saw a fan in the audience was on FaceTime with a young boy.
Morgan waved at the phone and then gestured to the fan to hand it to him. Another audience member caught the magical moment on video and posted it on TikTok.
You can see the “I Got Better” singer kneel down and take the phone and say, “What’s up buddy?” and talk a little longer before returning the phone to the surprised and delighted owner.

The TikTok video showing the now viral video was reposted by the mom whose son got the unforgettable moment with the superstar singer.
In the post, @lauren_and_jack5 wrote, “POV: You’re FaceTiming your 10-year-old at a Morgan Wallen concert and it turns into his moment. 😂
Ok so here’s what happened…
Morgan just hit the stage, and I thought it’d be cute to FaceTime my son. I’m fumbling with my purse, holding an adult beverage (judge me later), trying to flip the camera like a normal person… but I just gave up and turned my whole phone around so he could see Morgan.
Then—out of NOWHERE—Morgan starts walking toward me.
And I’m thinking… oh no… this is it.
He’s about to CALL. ME. OUT.
In front of 60,000 people. For FaceTiming. 😳
My heart DROPPED.
Next thing I know, my son’s face is on the jumbo screen (okay not really, but it felt like it), and Morgan goes:
“What’s up buddy? How are you? You ought to come to the show next time.” 🥹
Meanwhile… my son is shirtless, lying in bed, about to go to sleep. 😂
He was SO embarrassed but also so hyped he didn’t even care.
He basically blacked out. Same, honestly. Unreal experience. Thank you @morganwallen 🩵”
Second TikTok Post Shows 10-Year-Old’s Reaction to Morgan Wallen Moment
A second TikTok post by @lauren_and_jack5 shows a screenshot of her little boy’s face when he realized he was actually talking to Morgan Wallen himself.
It’s unclear if the ten-year-old had the presence of mind to take the screenshot, or if perhaps Morgan Wallen did it.
The shot shows the little boy with his mouth wide open, smiling with his hand on his forehead.
The post is appropriately set to the music of Morgan Wallen’s song “Livin’ the Dream.”
Morgan Wallen’s Tour Stretches Into Mid-September
His tour stop in Santa Clarita, California was his last before an almost two-week break in his “I’m the Problem” Tour.
It picks back up August 15 in Cleveland, Ohio before heading to the Boston suburb of Foxborough, Massachusetts. Then the tour will head to Canada for four stops before coming to an end September 13.
