Miley Cyrus Says She’s ‘Starting Over’ in 2025

Songstress Miley Cyrus says she’s starting over in 2025.

“HAPPY HOLIDAYS & NEW YEAR!” Cyrus wrote in a December 23 post on Instagram.

“It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again. This is one of my favorite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me,” she wrote.

The post was accompanied by a picture of the former “Voice” coach wearing a black dress.

Miley Cyrus Says She Wants to ‘Start Anew’

Cyrus’s post was both positive and melancholy.

“In everything I do I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I’ve got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew. At times it can be a heartbreaking process but I’ve always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful,” she wrote.

“Thank you to everyone who has been apart of making this year so special,” the post says.

“Sincerely, Miley,” the post concluded.

According to E! News, although she is saying goodbye to 2024, it was a good year for Cyrus. She won two Grammy awards for “Flowers” and was “the youngest person ever to receive the Disney Legend Award” at age 32, E! News reported.

Cyrus also has a steady relationship with boyfriend Maxx Morando, according to E! News.

“He’s very similar to me. We just don’t take life too seriously,” she told Harper’s Bazaar of why things work with Morando.

She added, “I worked with my dad forever. That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other. I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much.” Cyrus told the publication that Morando has introduced her to new music.
