Kelsea Ballerini is taking it all off … her concert tour wig, that is! “The Voice” coach peeled back the curtain with a TikTok video showing her wig removal, and fans were stunned that she wore one.

Kelsea Ballerini Had a Good Reason for Wearing a Wig on Tour

In an April 17 TikTok video, Ballerini shared her Hannah Montana moment with her wig reveal.

She had a good reason for the fake hair and it even earned her a nickname. “Protected my hair, felt like hannah montana, and got the after show nickname rufus. last night of tour shed 🫠,” she wrote in the caption.

In the video, Ballerini sat down and gave her head a nod as the song “This Is the Life” played. The clip was sped up to show her wig being removed, with her hairstylist applying product to the edges to release the glue before fully lifting off the head of blonde hair.

Underneath a wig cap, Ballerini’s natural hair was braided. Once the braids were removed, her shoulder length waves were revealed for a moment before she put her hair up to get some final glue clean up done.

She used a makeup remover wipe and revealed a fresh face under her glam, then leaned in close to the camera to smile, wave, and blow a kiss.

Kelsea Ballerini’s Fans Were Totally Surprised

Many Ballerini fans left comments about how shocked they were that the singer was wearing a wig at her shows.

“IT WAS A WIG??? GURRLLL IT LOOKED SO REAL,” one fan noted. Another wrote, “Literally just thought she was genetically blessed with good hair.”

One person shared that they “Literally never would’ve known” if “The Voice” coach hadn’t posted this video.
