Singer Kelly Clarkson is making her Las Vegas residency a family affair, with adorable results!
The original “American Idol: and upcoming judge on “The Voice” brought her kids, 11-year-old River Rose and 9-year-old Remi, up on stage Saturday night, July 26, to join her in belting out one of her biggest hits.
The kids danced and sang along to “Since U Been Gone,” with Kelly encouraging “come on!” and holding the microphone to River Rose’s mouth for the chorus.
An audience member caught the heartwarming moment on video and posted it on TikTok.
Kelly Clarkson’s Kids Show No Signs of Stage Fright
In the TikTok video, both of Kelly Clarkson’s children seem totally at ease to be on stage, dancing, bouncing and running around the stage, singing along to every word.
And it’s not the first time they’ve been in front of an audience.
River Rose joined her mom on stage in Vegas earlier this month to sing a duet of “Heartbeat Song,” even wearing a matching outfit with her superstar singer mom.
Kelly Clarkson Gets Candid In Vegas Residency
In addition to sharing her adorable kids with her fans, Kelly Clarkson is also sharing her thoughts and her heart from the Las Vegas stage.
In several TikTok videos posted by a fan in the audience, the “Stronger” singer got real about why she’s not singing certain songs like “Piece by Piece” saying, “People are asking, ‘why aren’t you having this in your set?’ and I was like ‘have you heard the lyrics?'”
Kelly laughed and then pretended to cry, saying, “Because, when I wrote it, I was really hopeful. And I was going through something. That’s the thing, you know, people think… I mean, hey, my life is awesome.. I’m very blessed, but you don’t always know what’s going on behind the curtain.”
She goes on to say, “When I wrote this song, I was just really hopeful that I didn’t make a mistake, and that’s usually when you know you did.”
In fact, Kelly told the audience she’s changed the lyrics to “Piece by Piece.” She said the song is now about collecting the pieces for yourself and putting yourself back together.
In a lighter moment, Kelly confessed to a certain “wardrobe malfunction.” She told the audience, “I’m not gonna lie, I have these like pasties things underneath. I am so hot … is this the change?” She then joked, “It’s gonna happen. You might all of a sudden see boobs.”
