The Jonas Brothers are on the road, taking their 20th anniversary tour to the fans.
But while they’re far from the comforts of home, their list of “must-haves” backstage in their dressing rooms may come with some surprises.
Former Voice coach Nick Jonas and his brothers are all suckers for one particular snack.
In a new TikTok video posted by Eater, the JoBros reveal that among their lists, they all include “ants on a log.” That snack, which they call “nostalgic” is a celery stick with peanut butter or almond butter spread on it, then sprinkled with raisins.
The brothers admit that while other things on their tour riders have changed over the years, “ants on a log” has remained a constant for all three.
Kevin Jonas adds that his list of foods has become more “family friendly,” so that when his wife and kids join him backstage, there’s plenty for them to choose from. He lists hummus and a vegetable plate as things he always has on hand.
Kevin and wife Danielle have two daughters, Alena Rose who is 11 and Valentina Angelina, who is 9.
Joe Jonas’ specifics are very different from his older brother and include “a pretty good coffee set up, a heathy-sized bottle of 1942 tequila and some Coors Light.”
The Jonas Brothers’ Set List Includes Solo Hits
After the brothers fuel up backstage, fans can expect a wide variety of songs both from their years as a band and from solo projects.
In a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” Nick Jonas told Jimmy it’s “basically impossible to summarize a 20-year journey with music.” But the three have done their best to pick a set list that represents the two decades well.
“What we feel we’ve come to is something that really represents the journey we’ve been on and the songs that are relevant to us and those steps in our career in different moments,” Nick said. “We’ve got some amazing special guests lined up and I just can’t wait.”
“There’s so much music to play,” oldest brother Kevin Jonas added. “The setlist is hard to build, right? But at the same time it’s so fun because we do get to take breaks and admire each other’s work at the same time.”
Nick said he and his brothers are well aware that many of their fans have been with them on the entire 20-year journey.
“The people that were our age back when we were teens touring and making music are our age now and they’ve grown up and they’re bringing their kids to the shows, but their parents that brought them when they were in their youth still want to come,” Nick said.
