Jadyn Cree Olesen is competing on Season 27 of “The Voice” on Team Bublé, and the musician believes his contestant has a good chance of winning. “I thought it was flawless. Jadyn, I don’t think you know how great you are. You could win this show, for sure,” Bublé told Jaydn in an episode of the show on March 10.
Jadyn is likely hoping to better her dad’s strong performance. Her father is Bryan Olesen, a singer and guitarist who placed third in Season 25 (the winner was Asher HaVon). But what do we know about Bryan and the rest of Jadyn’s family? These are five fast facts to know about them.
1. Jadyn Cree’s Father Is One of Her Biggest Supporters
Having competed on the show himself, Bryan understands the rollercoaster of emotions his daughter must be experiencing and the hard work she has put in to get as far as she has in Season 27. He is also one of her biggest supporters. He was with Jadyn when she did her blind audition, and he has been rooting for her all the way (she joined him for his blind audition, too).
In January 2025, Bryan made a touching tribute to his daughter on Instagram. He posted a throwback photo and shared his thoughts in the caption. “Just when I thought this crazy wonderful ride on The Voice couldn’t get any better!!!” he wrote. “I can’t even begin to describe how this makes me feel. I’m so proud of my girl for just leaning in and embracing this opportunity.”
Bryan continued, “Jadyn, I know you’re incredibly talented, and you’re going to do amazing. But what gives me the most joy and pride is how beautiful you are inside and out. And now the world will get to see who you are. I love you, sweetheart! Enjoy the ride!!”
2. Jadyn Cree Has Two Brothers
Jaydn Cree is not an only child; she has two brothers, Liam and Myles. She is the oldest of her siblings, but they appear to share a close bond. The “The Voice” hopeful has posted several photos of her family on Instagram. These include a bunch of sweet photos and a video to celebrate Thanksgiving in November 2021.
3. Her Mom Hasn’t Embraced the Limelight
Jaydn Cree’s parents have been married since 1997. Her mom is Jen Olesen, and unlike her daughter and husband, Bryan, she has chosen not to embrace the limelight. Her Instagram account is set to private. However, fans of Jadyn can get a glimpse into her relationship with her mom because she has made several posts that include her, including a Mother’s Day tribute in May 2017. In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mom,” followed by a red heart emoji.

4. She Was Raised To Be Humble
Jaydn Cree is enjoying her time on “The Voice” and has endeared herself to the audience because she is a fantastic singer and she’s likable. In an interview with Deepest Dream in May 2025, she was complimented on being humble. The publication asked her, “Did you get that level of modesty and lack of pretension from your family?” to which she replied, “It’s probably the way that I was raised.”
She continued, “Being complimented and everything just makes me so awkward. I’m just like, I don’t know. I don’t ever, and I’m also my biggest critic, too, so when people do compliment me, I’m like ‘Are they just saying this to make me feel better? Are they just saying this because they care about me, but it’s like not that good?’”
5. Religion Has Played an Important Part in Their Family
Parade reports that Bryan Olesen was a worship pastor at Lincoln Berean Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, where the family is based. He spoke about his life and being grateful in an interview with the publication in May 2024.
“I feel like some of the best things God just drops on you and you can’t really orchestrate them, and that’s what I feel like this season of life has been,” he told Parade. “I just want to give some time of reflection and thankfulness and just enjoy it.”
