The season 27 winner of “The Voice” will be named soon, and the battle to the finish line will be fierce. Many fans have already picked their favorites and will want to be fully prepared to vote after the May 12 live show.
After the eliminations during the May 5 episode, eight artists remained. Then, the coaches learned they could each save one more team member. Viewers will find out which four artists got the call as the Top 12 face off during the May 12 episode.
The results of the viewers’ votes will be announced during the episode airing on Tuesday, May 13. The field will be cut from 12 to five, and the five remaining artists will battle in the two-part season finale airing on May 19 and 20.
The power is now in the hands of the viewers with the live shows, and there are two ways to vote.
‘The Voice’ Fans Can Vote Online or Via the App
According to NBC on May 9, “The Voice” fans can vote online or via the show’s official phone application.
Fans can vote once via the app per registered email address. In addition, another vote can be cast online via the show’s webpage for each registered email address.
Voting begins after the May 12 show ends and continues overnight. NBC indicates that the voting window opens at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, or 5 p.m. Pacific.
On May 13, voting closes at 7:00 a.m. Eastern, and 4 a.m. Pacific.
For “The Voice” viewers in the Central time zone, voting begins at 7 p.m. and ends the following morning at 6 a.m.
Fans can go to “The Voice” Vote page on NBC’s website to cast their vote once the voting window opens.
“The Voice” fans can also vote via the show’s app. Versions are available both in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The Instant Save Comes During the May 13 Show
During the May 12 episode, “The Voice” fans will watch 12 artists perform. That includes the eight who initially moved forward as well as another singer chosen by their coach to return after their elimination.
Fans will get the chance to vote on an Instant Save during the May 13 show. NBC notes, “During the Tuesday results show… some Artists will be eligible for the Instant Save.”
Four performers will move forward to the May 19 finale. The remaining eight will then be eligible to win the Instant Save and land the final spot in the season 27 finale.
According to NBC, fans are limited to one vote per email address for the Instant Save. This means fans can vote via the website or the app, but not both, for each registered email address.
The voting for the Instant Save happens during a very short window during the May 13 show. NBC indicates viewers will have just five minutes to vote during the May 13 live episode.
