Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Celebrate Loved Up Anniversary

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are marking a loved up milestone.

The singers just celebrated their fourth anniversary as a married couple, but from their social media posts, you’d think they were still newlyweds.

On her Instagram account, Gwen Stefani posted a video of the pair kissing, dancing and more with the caption, “7-3-21. every day i thank God for u @blakeshelton. happy anniversary ❤️ i love u so much ❤️” Blake Shelton quickly responded, commenting, “I love you!!!!” Under the video, the couple’s duet “Purple Irises” plays.

But Blake Shelton didn’t just comment on Gwen’s post. He made one of his own. Blake posted a picture of the pair kissing at their wedding ceremony on his Instagram account. In the caption he wrote, “My pretty girl… I’m the luckiest man to be married to you and to know you. I love you @gwenstefani!!!!!! Happy anniversary!!!!”

Blake & Gwen Got Married In Specially Constructed Chapel

According to Taste of Country, Blake and Gwen got married in a chapel built specially on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch property on July 3, 2021.

The couple met when they were both coaches on “The Voice” in 2014, but both were married to other people at the time.

Blake Shelton and second wife Miranda Lambert divorced in 2015, as did Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale. Gwen and Blake announced their relationship later that same year.

Blake proposed in 2020 after five years together, writing in an Instagram post at the time, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”

When they married in 2021, Blake became stepfather to Gwen’s three sons, Kingston, now 19, Zuma, now 16, and Apollo, now 11.

Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Get Personal With Duets

Since then, the couple have collaborated on several duets that have represented pop star Gwen Stefani’s first forays into country music. Those include “Happy Anywhere” and “Nobody but You,” and their latest collab “Purple Irises,” which Gwen featured in her Instagram post celebrating their anniversary.

The lyrics to “Purple Irises” seem to speak to the couple’s relationship timeline, reading:

“Wonder why you took a risk
On a broken heart you cannot fix
No, I never knew a love like this
Now we’re picking purple irises

I got you
And you got me and
Do you still think I’m pretty?
And are you happy?

It’s not 2014
But you still look good in those jeans
Looking in the mirror
Do you see what I see?

But if someone comes along and tries to love you like I love you
Don’t know what I’d do, don’t wanna lose you
If someone comes along and tries to take you, tries to make you
Don’t let ’em change your mind”
