TikTok influencer Chris Olsen couldn’t contain his emotions after meeting Ariana Grande at the Golden Globes.
Olsen, who has millions of followers on social media, uploaded a video of himself crying with the caption, “what just happened?” In the next clip, Olsen shared the moment that he and Grande met for the very first time.
The two appeared to have a great bit of conversation and, at one point, Grande could be heard telling Olsen, “I feel like I already know you.” Before the video ended, the two hugged one another goodbye.
On TikTok, Olsen added a bit more to his post, saying that he “somehow stayed chill(ish) and had a normal convo” with Grande.

After watching Olsen’s video, dozens of fans reacted to it on Instagram. Many of Olsen’s followers know just how special this moment was for him and commented such on his video.
“But why do i feel like yall were already friends? Like it just seems like yall would be best friends,” one person wrote.
“The ‘I feel like I already know you.’ Chris you are the most deserving of this. I’m so happy for you,” someone else said.
“She genuinely looks so nice and interested in talking to you,” a third comment read.
“Chris you deserve this and we are all in tears I’m so happy for you,” a fourth Instagram user added.
Chris Olsen Couldn’t Get Over Ariana Grande’s Performance in ‘Wicked’
On November 10, Olsen uploaded a TikTok when he went to see the “Wicked” movie. In the film, Grande portrays the role of Galinda.
“Oh I don’t have words,” he captioned the post. At the end of the film, Olsen just cried uncontrollably, simply loving the movie — and Grande’s role in it.
For those who don’t know Olsen, he’s a content creator and a comedian. In an interview with People magazine that ran in December 2024, Olsen shared a bit about how tough the year was for him.
“While it has been a really big year, it’s also been probably one of the hardest years of my life since I got sober seven years ago,” he told the outlet. He recalled having a breakdown a few months prior that really changed his life.
“I decided whatever I was doing wasn’t working anymore for me personally. So I decided to change everything I was doing,” he explained, adding, “That turned into a whole world on its own when all I really wanted to do was block out people who were being mean. All I really wanted to do was be more singular and be more alone.”
As Olsen navigated through the challenging time, he decided that he wanted to create content that made him “happy.”
Meeting Grande was certainly a highlight and helped him achieve that ultimate goal.
