Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani put a new spin on date night — as the former “The Voice” coaches took to the lake for some fishing. See the big catch Stefani snagged!
Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Have a Little Fun on the Lake
In a March 30 Instagram post, Stefani shared a look at their fun fishing outing. In the video, Shelton reeled in a big bass and released it. “Wow, that is a large mouth,” she said.
She captioned the video, “Singer, songwriter, angler.”
Another video showed off more of their lake date, with Stefani captioning it, “Who knew wind it up was about fishing this whole time?? lol 😝.”
In the video, the singer is seen casting and reeling in a fish, which she proudly holds up for the camera. Nice catch!
Fans loved seeing the duo in action and marveled at just how stylish Stefani looked while fishing. “Only you can make fishing look so freaking cool 😎,” one fan noted in the comments.
Another fan wrote, “Love your fishing outfit and earrings, you go girl 🔥❤️.
One person said Stefani’s “very stylish” outdoor fashion would definitely have some buyers. “Ya know, you may have a new design demographic,” they wrote. “I would def purchase this entire ensemble to wear fishing.”
Others pointed out how they looked like they were having so much fun enjoying this “simple kind of life.” One fan commented, “A reality show with you and Blake living the country life would be a hit!!👍😎🇺🇸.”
Blake & Gwen Enjoy Life on the Ranch
In a September 2023 interview with People, Stefani shed more light on adjusting to Oklahoma ranch living. It certainly wasn’t a location she imagined herself in.
“When I was young, I’d walk home from school and see my mom in her shorts doing her gardening, and my dad would be cutting the trees and make me pick up the branches,” she shared. “I’d be like, ‘I’m never having a tree at my house.'”
Things are far different now, however. “I just had the most incredible dahlias ever,” she told the outlet, adding that she’s a “garden flower nerd.”
She noted, “When we get to Oklahoma, we’re constantly working — and it’s a different kind of work. It’s probably what my mom was doing back in the day, and now I get it!”
The singer added, “I am not really a dirt person, a bug person, I don’t like that much humidity. But it’s so beautiful [in Oklahoma], and you kind of feel like you’re going into this vortex. Nature — and God — is all right there.”
