Adam Levine Admits He Regrets Not Turning For Adam David

David delivered a powerful performance of Sam Cooke’s “Bring It On Home To Me” in the semi-finals, which led to quite a compliment from Adam Levine.

“Holy smokes, dude. First of all, I want you to know you’re my biggest regret. That was unbelievable, every second of it, but then you just ripped like an unbelievable guitar solo, and that makes me mad. I wish you were on my team,” he admitted (via Parade). “For real, you’re not just one of the most improved players in this game, but also one of my favorites in this whole competition. Amazing.”

When David first auditioned, Michael Bublé was the only one to turn around, but it’s clear that he has made quite the impact across all the coaches. In the semi-final after his strong performance that landed him in the middle four, David received the instant save despite being among the bottom performers, after singing Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control.”

But, the finale is one last opportunity for David to make Levine really regret his decision to not turn by winning the entire competition.
