We made it, folks. The Season 27 finale of “The Voice” airs tonight, May 20, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on NBC, and the competition is fierce. The Top 5 finalists (Renzo, Lucia Flores-Wiseman, Jadyn Cree, Jaelen Johnston, and Adam David) delivered standout performances during last night’s show, each bringing their unique style and passion to the stage.
And with America’s votes making an impact, anyone could pull off the win. Let’s take a closer look at each contestant’s final performances.
Renzo (Team Legend)
Renzo kicked off the night with Lenny Kravitz’s “Fly Away,” and the vibe was pure rockstar. From the second he hit the stage, he owned the room with gritty vocals, slick runs, and full-throttle energy. It was fun, confident, and made it clear why he’s been a standout all season.
Then came Jeff Buckley’s “Lover, You Should’ve Come Over” — and wow, talk about range. Renzo stripped things down, delivering the song with restraint and raw feeling. His falsetto was haunting, and he let the emotion simmer without going overboard.
He’s a total vocal gymnast with serious stage presence with serious emotional depth to match.
Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam)
Lucia opened with Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here,” and it was a masterclass in control. Her delivery was clean, thoughtful, and full of subtle emotion. She didn’t try to reinvent the wheel; she just made it hers, and it worked.
Then she pulled a 180 with Billie Eilish’s “Wildflower,” blending whispery tones with her signature edge. It felt current without trying too hard, and her phrasing was sharp and intentional. There’s a quiet power in how she performs, and it makes you lean in.
She’s genre-fluid and smart with her choices: a legit threat for the win.
Jadyn Cree (Team Bublé)
Jadyn kicked things off with “Lose You to Love Me” by Selena Gomez, and it was easily her most vulnerable moment yet. She kept it soft and intimate, and her vocal control was strong… no unnecessary frills, just pure emotion. You could tell she connected deeply with the lyrics.
Then she flipped the script with “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners, bouncing around the stage with carefree confidence. Her voice cut through the chaos of the arrangement, and she looked like she was having the time of her life.
She’s relatable, modern, and backed by Bublé’s careful coaching. Don’t count her out.
Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea)
Jaelen brought the party with Dierks Bentley’s “What Was I Thinkin’.” He seemed relaxed and at home, with a twangy tone and an easy charm that made it feel like a live concert. He’s got the storytelling thing down, and that charisma came through big-time.
Then he delivered Chris Stapleton’s “Cold,” and it was next-level. That gravel in his voice hit just right, and he let the emotion breathe in all the right spots. It was gritty, powerful, and 100% believable.
He’s had the most noticeable growth arc this season; and fans love when the underdog levels up.
Adam David (Team Bublé)
Adam started with Joe Cocker’s “You Are So Beautiful,” and somehow made a well-known classic feel brand new. He held back just enough to let the tenderness shine, and when he hit the high notes? Pure goosebumps.
His version of “Hard Fought Hallelujah” by Brandon Lake & Jelly Roll, and the moment was massive. Big vocals, gritty emotion, a few chill-inducing growls… it was the kind of performance that feels like a finale closer. Passionate, intentional, and vocally pristine.
With his standout vocals, smart song choices, and serious fan momentum, he might just be the one to beat.
Predicting a Winner
All five artists delivered, but if we’re going by consistency, song choices, vocal range, and sheer momentum, Adam David has the edge. His final performances were show-stoppers, and with Bublé hyping him up like a proud stage dad, Adam’s path to victory feels the most solid. One viewer even posted on Reddit saying, “I am lovinggggg that everyone is now catching on to Adam David being unbelievable and in my eyes, he has to win!”
That said… this finale isn’t a one-person race. Renzo’s soulful switch-up, Lucia’s genre-hopping brilliance, Jadyn’s relatability, and Jaelen’s heartfelt country grit all gave “winner energy.” The competition’s tighter than ever, and depending on how America votes, we could easily see a surprise upset.
No matter who takes the crown, this Top 5? Absolutely stacked.
