Netflix has released the official viewing figures for Meghan Markle‘s lifestyle series “With Love, Meghan,” and the numbers provide a clear picture of how the show performed during its debut months. The streaming giant’s latest Engagement Report, covering the first half of 2025, reveals exactly where the Duchess of Sussex’s passion project landed among Netflix’s most-watched content.
“With Love, Meghan” secured a position of 383 on Netflix’s rankings, garnering 5.3 million views since its March 4 premiere. The show, which featured Markle hosting friends and sharing her expertise in cooking, entertaining, and lifestyle tips, was filmed entirely in Montecito, California, where she lives with Prince Harry and their two children.
The series showcased Markle’s personal passions through intimate gatherings with celebrity friends, including appearances by Mindy Kaling and other notable guests. The Duchess served as both host and executive producer, creating content that reflected her interests in hospitality, cooking, and home design.
Netflix’s overall rankings for 2025 were dominated by major international hits, with “Adolescence” taking the top spot with 145 million views, followed by the second season of “Squid Game” with 117 million views and its third season with 72 million views.
Early Success Showed Promise for the Series
During its first week, “With Love, Meghan” demonstrated impressive initial traction among Netflix viewers. People documented that by March 12, the show had reached tenth place on Netflix’s global Top 10 Shows Overview list, accumulating 2.6 million views and 12.6 million hours watched within its first week.
The show’s regional performance varied, with particularly strong reception in key markets. It achieved seventh place on Netflix’s Top 10 Shows chart in the United Kingdom and tenth place on the platform’s Top 10 list in the United States, indicating solid viewership in both Markle’s current home country and her country of origin.
The series represented the fifth project from the multiyear production deal that Prince Harry and Mearkle signed with Netflix in 2020, reportedly worth $100 million. This agreement has produced various content types, from documentaries to lifestyle programming, showcasing the couple’s diverse interests and expertise.
For comparison, Prince Harry and Meghan executive-produced “Polo,” which Netflix released in December 2024. It achieved 500,000 views and ranked at position 3,436 on Netflix’s list. This stark difference in viewership numbers suggests that the lifestyle content focused on Markle’s personal brand resonated more strongly with audiences than sports-focused programming.
Season Two Already Filmed and Ready for Fall
Looking ahead, Netflix has already secured the future of “With Love, Meghan” by filming a second season. New episodes will arrive on Netflix this fall, with Michael Steed returning as director and Chrissy Teigen serving as the first confirmed guest star for the upcoming season.
Markle’s enthusiasm for the project has been evident in her public statements about sharing her passions with a broader audience. “When your children get to a certain age — when you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again — it’s super joyful,” she explained in an interview with People earlier this year.
The Duchess continued: “As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again — in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older — is a wonderful feeling.”
Beyond the Netflix series, Markle has been building her lifestyle brand “As Ever,” which launched earlier this year. The brand’s product launches have consistently sold out within hours, including a recent restock that sold out within four hours despite dramatically increased inventory.
