Meghan Markle Channels ‘Summertime’ Vibes in Beach Instagram Post

Meghan Markle is ringing in summer with a nod to a ’90s classic.

On Saturday, Markle shared a photo on Instagram of herself walking along the beach. The clip featured the Duchess of Sussex dressed in a breezy cream linen button-down shirt, white shorts, a wide-brimmed hat, tan sandals, and several gold bangles.

Channeling Nostalgic Vibes

The seasonal post featured ‘Summertime,’ the 1991 hit by DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, as its soundtrack.

“That weekend feeling ☀️🎶,” she captioned the snapshot.

The photo marks another glimpse into Meghan’s life in California, where she resides with her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children—Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

Meghan has become more active on social media lately, offering fans personal moments from her day-to-day life. On June 23, she posted a behind-the-scenes video from her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which featured a special cameo from her daughter, Lilibet.

“A little behind the scenes of @aseverofficial,” she wrote in the caption. “Hope you enjoy your treats when they arrive this week!” she added with a honey pot emoji.

Set to upbeat music, the video showed Meghan writing a personalized note in her signature calligraphy before transitioning to scenes of her carrying plates, relaxing in her garden, and standing on a small bridge with Lilibet. The clip ends with the Duchess gently touching her daughter’s back as they gaze dreamily into the water.

Earlier this month, Meghan also posted a Father’s Day tribute video dedicated to Prince Harry. Shared on June 15, the montage featured footage of Harry with both kids, including a touching moment of Archie learning how to ride a bicycle.

Toward the end of the video—set to Jason Mraz’s “Have It All”—Archie is seen riding without training wheels as Harry runs beside him and Meghan cheers behind the camera. Lilibet joins the fun by chasing after her brother and father.

The tribute concluded with a photo of Harry walking hand-in-hand with Archie and Lilibet beneath a banner that read “Happy Father’s Day.”

After stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan moved to California to raise their children out of the public eye. In a March interview with People, Meghan opened up about rediscovering her identity as her children grow older.

“As a woman, a mom and a wife, to be able to find yourself again — in a way that was always present but that you maybe couldn’t put as much attention on as you now can when your kids are a little bit older — is a wonderful feeling,” Meghan said.
