Meghan Markle Shares a Rare Photo of Princess Lilibet to Honor a Special Day

Meghan Markle celebrated International Women’s Day with a sweet snap of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, and her husband, Prince Harry.

“Happy International Women’s Day! Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day,” she wrote in an Instagram post shared on March 8.

In the photo, Lilibet and Harry are seen cuddling on a boat, with the 3-year-old’s back to the camera while her father places a kiss on her head.

Other pictures in the carousel included a throwback picture of Markle’s young self playing with her mother, Doria Ragland, and one of her with Harry on a beach.

Meghan Markle’s Kids Made a Brief Cameo in Her Instagram Post

Markle is extremely private when it comes to her two kids, Archie and Lilibet, but she gave a rare glimpse of them in a March 6 Instagram post.

In the reel, Markle kisses the back of Archie’s head while she and her friends make cookies. In another moment, viewers can see Lilibet standing on a stool, looking on. A quick shot also shows Prince Harry peeking.

“When making thumbprint cookies at home becomes a family affair! Thanks @_heartmom_ & @clarewaightkeller for the love and extra set of hands!” Markle wrote in the caption.

Archie & Lilibet Visited Meghan Markle on the Set of Her Netflix Show

“With Love, Meghan,” was filmed in Montecito, California, where Markle and her family live, although the Netflix series was actually shot at a nearby rental property

“I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments — putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day,” Markle told People in a March 7 interview.

She continued, “Our kitchen is where Mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house!”

Markle shared with People that Archie and Lilibet would visit her on set and said, “It was really special because up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work.”

While Markle’s kids don’t make appearances on “With Love, Meghan,” she has mentioned them on the show. In the first episode, she made a pasta dish with makeup artist Daniel Martin and told him, “When I make this, I make it for my family. Not that my children are eating heaps of noodles, but when I make it, I’ll make enough that I can put leftovers in their lunchbox.”

In the fifth episode, Markle revealed to her friends Abigail Spencer and Kelly McKee Zajfen that Lilibet helped her make jam. “Lili and I actually made this batch together. She picked berries with me, saying, ‘No, no mama, I’ll do it.’ She’s proud,” the Duchess of Sussex said.
