Meghan Markle Celebrates Big News About Lifestyle Show

Just three days after season one of Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” debuted on Netflix, the program has already been renewed for season two!

In a new Instagram post, the Duchess of Sussex writes, “If you’re loving Season 1, just wait until you see the fun we cooked up on Season 2!

Thanks for joining the party, and an endless thanks to the amazing team and crew who helped bring it all to life! “

People” confirmed what Meghan’s post implies, which is that the second season has already been filmed. And fans of season one of the lifestyle show won’t have long to wait. Season two will reportedly hit Netflix in the fall.

‘With Love, Meghan’ Debuts at Number Six on Top Ten List

Meghan Markle’s lifestyle show debuted March 4 and quickly climbed to number six on Netflix’s U.S. top ten. It did similarly well in Great Britain, Hungary and Kenya according to Newsweek.

While Prince Harry and the couple’s children Archie, 5 and Lilibet, 3, have little presence on the show, Meghan did give a rare glimpse of Archie and Lili in an Instagram post about baking cookies. The Duchess captioned the video, “When making thumbprint cookies at home becomes a family affair! Thanks @_heartmom_ & @clarewaightkeller for the love and extra set of hands! ❤️”

In the video, Meghan is seen kissing Archie on the head. It also shows Lilibet standing on a stepstool, leaning on the kitchen island while her mom and others make “thumbprint” cookies.

Meghan Markle Says Cooking for Kids Is Top Priority

While the Duchess has been traveling in recent days to promote her Netflix show, she says when she’s home, cooking and baking for her children is a top priority. Meghan told “People,” “I wake up every morning and take a lot of pride in making breakfast for my family…mornings are fast. Gotta get the kids to school.”

“I’m up before my kids are, so I’m normally up at 6:30, and then I get them up and dressed for the day, and we go downstairs. I love making breakfast for my family,” she explained, adding that their favorite is “surprise” pancakes.

“They don’t know what’s going to be on the other side when it flips over,” says Meghan, who picks from rainbow sprinkles, chocolate chips or blueberries she arranges in the shape of a smiley face.

Duchess Focuses on Connecting With Family While Traveling

When she can’t be home, Meghan finds other ways to connect with her young family. In an appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the Duchess told Barrymore, “I always make it a point, when I’m traveling, if I can’t do bedtime stories with my kids, because Archie and Lilly are just 3 and 5. So I’ll always pack a really thin book. And I’ll videotape myself reading it. So whoever’s with them or Papa can say, ‘here’s Mama reading your bedtime story.’ You find ways to show up for each other. And if that’s the one thing that I can convey through the show, or ‘As Ever’ as a brand, I want people to know you can show up for each other because you know how good it feels when someone shows up for you.”
