‘The Bachelor’ Couple Teases Upcoming Wedding ‘This Year’

A wedding for a fan-favorite “The Bachelor” couple will happen this year. However, fans should not expect a fancy, big wedding from them. Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are going with a low-key plan, and Biggar shared it will happen this year.

Kaity Biggar & Zach Shallcross Have a Date, But Won’t Reveal It

During an appearance on the March 19 episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, Biggar shared a wedding update. She said, “Life is great. Zach and I decided we’re gonna get married this year. No, I’m not telling you the date. But yeah, we’re so excited.”

Shallcross and Biggar have decided not to have a splashy wedding. She said they now have decided to “just go to city hall” for a quiet, official wedding. They figure they will throw a party to celebrate at some point after they wed.

In January, Shallcross talked about their decision to abandon plans for a big wedding on an episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast. He explained they had met with a wedding planner and had some plans in place.

However, he shared, they “pondered on it for a week and we’re like, ‘[It] does not feel good to just go so into this venue when we’ve already established what our priorities are,’ which is buying a house.”

He continued, “So we backed out of the contract.”

They decided not to put their money into a big wedding, choosing to focus on being able to buy a house together instead.

Babies May not Be Far Behind for ‘The Bachelor’ Stars

Not only are Shallcross and Biggar feeling ready to wed, but they also are almost ready to try for a baby. Biggar revealed they are considering “having little babies” in about a year and a half.

“I’m so maternal and I can’t wait to have kids,” Biggar admitted.

She continued, “But I’m just loving this stage in our relationship and where we are in life, so I’m just soaking it all in. And we’re traveling so much, and I just love that man to death.”

Shallcross and Biggar adopted a dog not long ago, and they have even shared with fans they are considering getting a second dog.

Fans are excited that the couple is doing so well and will be eager to hear details once Shallcross and Biggar have officially tied the knot.
