Joan Vassos Is Enjoying Apartment Hunting: Report

“Golden Bachelorette” Joan Vassos and her fiance Chock Chapple are taking their time before deciding whether to get married and are currently enjoying apartment hunting, according to Life & Style Magazine.

“Joan and Chock don’t seem in any rush to wed,” a source told Life & Style Magazine. “Joan wants to stay in Maryland and has said that from the get-go, while Chock is in Kansas. They’re shopping for an apartment in NYC, which will be their rendezvous point.”

The source noted of the New York City location, “They think it’ll be romantic. They want to try this out and want their respective families to get to know each other before they take the next step and they see nothing wrong with that.”

Vassos and Chapple have been posted on Instagram about spending time together. For example, Vassos posted a photo showing them at Disneyland with other “Golden Bachelorette” contestants.

“It was so nice to go back to the place where I first fell in love with Chock and get to share that experience with my friends,” Vassos wrote with that post.

That doesn’t mean that the relationship isn’t going to make it.

“They’re hopeful they can work it out and are telling friends not to worry, but others aren’t so sure and hope this relationship doesn’t go down the way of Gerry and Theresa,” the source told Life & Style.

That’s a reference, of course, to “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner and his estranged wife Theresa Nist, who are already getting divorced.

Chapple and Vassos also spoke about their New York apartment hunt to People Magazine.

“It’s just like not really a move. It’s going to be a place for our little honeymoon,” Vassos told People. “It’s going to be a love shack,” Chapple added to the magazine.

Chapple told People that he and Vassos are “going to take a little bit of time and try to find a great place in SoHo.”

Vassos told People the apartment is “great place for us to really continue getting to know each other and in a totally different place, a place that both of us have always wanted to go.”

“It’s going to be a little bit of an adventure and having an adventure in this stage is kind of unique and so really feeling super lucky that we get to do this together,” she added to People.
