“The Golden Bachelorette” stars Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple had a fun opportunity they could not pass up. They returned to California where their season was filmed, and spent a day at Disneyland where they first started to fall for one another.
Joan Vassos Admitted She Fell in Love With Chock Chapple on That Date
On December 5, Vassos shared an Instagram post showing her with Chapple back at Disneyland.
Chapple and Vassos had their first one-on-one date during “The Golden Bachelorette” at Disneyland. The sparks flew, and it was a magical date that stood out from all the others in her season.
Now, the couple has returned to the place where it all began for the first time since getting engaged.
In her first video with Chapple back at Disneyland, Vassos revealed the amusement park was “actually where I fell in love with Chock.”
Chapple interjected that it’s “Where all the magic happens.”
She noted that their original date at Disneyland was in June when “The Golden Bachelorette” started filming.
A handful of other Bachelor Nation alums were at the park that day with them, and Vassos mentioned in another Instagram video everybody was invited out there with iHeart Radio. Of course, nobody else had quite the connection to the place that Chapple and Vassos did.
Several of Vassos’ fellow castmates from “The Golden Bachelor” were on the outing. Susan Noles, Kathy Swartz, and Nancy Hulkower were there, and Vassos and Chapple declared all three ladies were still single and looking for their love matches.
Another photo posted by Vassos that included Bachelor Nation alums at Disney showed several intriguing pairings. In addition to the Golden alums, the photo included Justin Glaze and Susie Evans, Aven Jones and Kylee Russell, as well as John Hersey and Heather Morris.
‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Fans Loved the Couple’s Update
Fans gushed over how cute the pair looked together in the comment section of Vassos’ posts.
One fan wrote, “This is SO cute! Have so much fun!”
“Aw, how romantic 👏😍❤️ truth be told, first date we could tell you were both smitten, 🥰” commented another.
A different Instagram user concurred. “I had a feeling it would be him from that point!!”
Someone else noted, “Such a great connection and full circle!”
“So love you two! Living life big & I love it,” read a separate comment.
“Magic truly does happen…. 💕 you two are meant to be together 💗so happy for you….!!! Enjoy your day making more magical memories, 🌟” wrote an additional fan.
The return to Disneyland came shortly after the Vassos and Chapple families got together for Thanksgiving.
Vassos explained in one of the videos she posted that she had dropped Chapple off at the airport in Washington, D.C. the day before they went to California. He had been in Maryland where Vassos lives.
He stopped home in Kansas briefly to do his laundry, Vassos shared, then hopped on another plane to meet her in Los Angeles.
It may have been a hectic whirlwind of a travel schedule, but “The Golden Bachelorette” stars appeared to be having a blast.
