Jenn Tran of “The Bachelorette” and “Dancing With The Stars” shared an update after she tried to purchase her first car, and things didn’t go as planned.
Tran took to social media on March 6, 2025, to open up about how she is “so proud of myself” for standing up and advocating for herself during the dealership dustup.
GettyTran, 27, is currently dating “DWTS” pro Sasha Farber, 40. She said it took a lot to use her voice because “I’m just a girl and I hate confrontation.”
Jenn Tran Courageously Spoke Up When Car Shopping Went Wrong
On her Instagram stories, Tran described the awkward encounter from the beginning.
She was super excited to buy a car for the first time, because “the one I have right now was passed onto me in high school.”
“I have never in my life scolded anyone but one particular salesperson was so disrespectful to my family and I had to stand up for us,” she explained.
She said she and her family were in the dealership for 15 minutes browsing, when a salesperson “started mocking us for asking questions,” she revealed.
The popular influencer went on, “I immediately called him out to which he was shocked and I left because no one is going to talk down to me like that.”
On a brighter note, Tran said she had success at another dealership, adding, “I’ll be a proud owner of my first new car soon! Hopefully!!!”
‘The Bachelorette’ Encouraged Her Fans to Stand Up For Themselves
Instead of focusing on the negative, Tran is using her Instagram platform, where she has over half a million followers, to inspire self confidence in others.
Everyone can relate to a time when they wish they’d said something before the moment passed, and Tran is telling her followers to do exactly that.
“I can’t say there’s a lot of times where I know when to stand up for myself. It usually happens after the fact in the shower and I’m kicking myself realizing I should’ve stood up for myself,” she wrote.
“However, I’m so proud of myself for doing it because no one should ever treat anyone with anything less than basic respect. So stand up for yourself!”
She added that she is “gonna start doing it more.”
Jenn Tran Turned Rough Day Around With Coffee & Cookies
Late in the day, the starlet got in some glam time with super stylist Riawna Capri, who owns salon Nine Zero One.
The New Jersey native captioned a carousel of Instagram photos, “Coffee, cookies and @riawna touching my hair all day every day please.”
She grinned in the pics and playfully clutched her cookie and to-go cup while the stylist used a curling iron before placing rollers in Tran’s luscious locks.
