‘The Bachelor’ Runner-up Makes a Big Move for Love

A runner-up from “The Bachelor” just moved away from the state she called home for the past several years. Daisy Kent, from Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor,” is now calling Las Vegas, Nevada home.

When Kent did “The Bachelor,” she was living in San Diego, California, where she attended college. She grew up in Minnesota, and moved to Los Angeles after doing the show. Shortly after Graziadei’s season aired, Kent reunited with a former boyfriend. Now, she’s moving into a new home they built.

Daisy Kent Moved to Las Vegas to Be With Boyfriend Thor Herbst

On February 28, Kent posted a teaser on her Instagram page. The caption read, “Guess where I’m moving? ✈️🚗🧳☀️” The short video showed her at Home Depot picking up moving boxes and other supplies.

Kent did not leave fans hanging for very long. On March 1, she revealed she moved to Las Vegas, where her boyfriend lives. “Honey I’m home,” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

The video Kent included contained a montage of highlights from the process of building the house. The house is now finished, and Kent had a champagne toast with her boyfriend to celebrate.

A follow-up Instagram post shared on March 2 provided some additional scoop from Kent. She wrote, “I moved to Vegas!”

She joked in the “Get Ready With Me” video she posted, “So, yes, me and Thor are now roommates, so we’ll see how that goes.”

Kent added that her social media followers would be seeing a lot more of him going forward. She recorded the video in a bathroom in their new home, and Herbst was in the background. At one point, he gave the camera a little wave.

Herbst’s Family Business Is Based in Las Vegas

The couple is still getting settled into their new home. Kent explained they “did a road trip with a bunch of my stuff from L.A. and then I flew up a couple days ago, brought a bunch more stuff and then doing another road trip on like Monday or Tuesday, where I’m going to bring a lot more of my stuff.”

In another TikTok video, Kent noted that the new home is fully furnished already. However, they still have to work on items like bedding, wall decor, towels, and other items like that.

“I’m just really excited to be with Thor all the time. We’re usually together all the time anyway, but I would say we usually go, like, four days without seeing each other,” she explained.

Kent also shared that this felt like a new chapter in her life and “I’m so excited for it.”

Us Weekly shared that Herbst and Kent met in college and dated briefly. They remained good friends after their split, and they have a large group of college friends who remain close.

After Kent’s stint on “The Bachelor,” Herbst reached out to her again, and they have been together ever since.

According to Us Weekly, Herbst’s extended family has been involved in racing for years.

The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame indicates the family began racing three generations ago. The “first family of desert racing” also branched out to own convenience stores, lube stations, and car washes that are located in the Las Vegas Valley.

Thor Herbst’s LinkedIn page indicates that he works as a management associate for the family company, Terrible Herbst Inc.
