Former “Bachelor in Paradise” stars Caelynn and Dean Bell, formerly Miller-Keyes and Unglert, are working on having their first child. She recently opened up about the experience, and was forthright in admitting it has not been as easy a process as she had hoped it would be.
Caelynn & Dean Bell Are Finding It Harder Than Anticipated
On January 3, Bell opened up in a video on her YouTube channel about her hopes to start a family soon with her husband.
She shared in her video that she has been working on a vision board for 2025. One big thing she has incorporated into her vision for the year is having a baby.
Bell explained, “We are trying to start a family, [a] pregnant belly is on the vision board, which might be weird. I don’t know if that’s considered a goal cuz we are actively trying, it’s just harder to make a baby than I thought it would be.”
“I know everyone says that but I was like, ‘No, I’m gonna get pregnant so easily,’ my mom got pregnant so fast with all of the kids [that] I was like, ‘That’s going to be me, too,'” she added.
However, Bell admitted, “Ovulation is tricky, I’m still figuring all that out.”
The Bells Met During Season 6 of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
As People noted, the couple met during season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise.” Initially, he dumped her and left filming on her birthday.
However, he later returned and convinced her to give him another chance. They left the beach together and have been together ever since.
The pair married in September 2023 and they both changed their last names. E! News shared in October 2022 that she explained the decision in an Instagram Story.
Bell is the maiden name of his mother, who died of breast cancer when he was younger. They decided long before their wedding day they wanted to ditch both Unglert and Miller-Keyes, officially changing both of their last names to Bell to honor his mother.
In January 2023, Bell opened up in an episode of the “Suckers” podcast about having babies. At the time, she noted the Bells weren’t ready to expand their family.
“Oh gosh, so far away. Two years. Two years is gonna come up quick. But yeah, I feel like two years, I’ll be ready,” she explained.
During her recent YouTube video, Bell mentioned having an appointment with an OBGYN, and she’s taking steps to better understand when she’s ovulating. She didn’t have any baby news to reveal yet, but it sounds as if the “Bachelor in Paradise” stars are getting serious about heading down that path.
