A Past Winner of “The Bachelorette” Has Baby News

Jed Wyatt, who won season 15 of ABC’s “The Bachelorette,” announced on March 13, 2025 that he is expecting his first child with his wife, fitness trainer Ellen Decker.

The couple shared the happy news in a joint Instagram post which featured a carousel of photos with the pair proudly clutching ultrasound photos.

They captioned the photo, “This next chapter is called: mom and dad!!! Finally can share our little secret. Baby Wyatt, our biggest blessing coming summer ’25.”

They opted to keep the gender unsaid, using a neutral white heart and angel emoji to emphasize the post.

Wyatt added in a comment, “I hope they like pancakes and ice cream sandwiches!”

Embracing His Roots

Jed Wyatt grew up in the Smoky Mountains, according to Knox News, and the joyous photoshoot was styled to honor his Tennessee culture. The outlet pointed out that he shares his hometown with country music legend Dolly Parton.

For the pics, Wyatt sported denim on denim, while Decker wore a form-fitting white gown with a black cowboy hat. The parents-to-be posed in front of a rustic blue pickup truck parked in a green nature area.

The dog-lovers also incorporated their cute pups into the special moment, with one shot showing the animals posing on the truck bed. Decker announced the adoption of a new puppy named Koda in a December 2024 video captioned, “We love you so much already, our little teddy bear!”

Several famous faces congratulated the couple in the comments.

Fellow “Bachelor” universe member Hannah Godwin wrote, “Ahhh yayyy! So excited for you guys.”

Model Cydney Moreau simply exclaimed, “YAYYYYYYYY.”

Dylan Barbour, a winner of “The Bachelor In Paradise” season 6 and husband of Godwin remarked, “Omg!!!!”

Jed Wyatt Was Previously Engaged To “The Bachelorette” Hannah Brown

Wyatt starred in, and won, one of the most dramatic seasons in “Bachelorette” history, ending up as the last man standing during Hannah Brown’s season, which aired in 2019.

Wyatt proposed with a Neil Lane ring, and Brown accepted, according to TV insider’s rundown of the drama. But their relationship fell apart when music artist Haley Stevens alleged she was dating Wyatt at the time he signed up for the show, and that he had promised to return home to her at its conclusion.

When Wyatt became engaged to Brown, Stevens went public with the revelation, according to People. Brown, in turn, broke off her engagement with Wyatt, telling him, “It’s not what I thought I was saying yes to.”

In a stranger-than-fiction twist, Stevens is now married to Brown’s brother, Patrick.

Putting the drama of the past behind him, Wyatt got his happily ever after with a 2024 Tennessee wedding to Decker.

Brown has also found love again, celebrating in a March 2025 Instagram post that she is heading to France “to finally make some wedding decisions.”

She overlayed a cute dance video with her dog and fiancé Woolard with the update, “Only four months until the big day, and honestly, wedding planning has been such a dream! Adam and I are just loving every second of it. In fact, he suggested we extend our engagement just so we can keep planning even longer!! (By that, I mean we’ve questioned everything, changed our minds a million times, and are just trying to survive at this point).”
