Arie & Lauren Luyendyk Share Huge News With Fans

Former “Bachelor” lead Arie Luyendyk and his wife, Lauren, whom he met on his season of the show, are ready to expand their family!

The couple, who previously said that they didn’t want to have more kids after welcoming their twins in 2021, shared their big decision on YouTube on February 20.

“You guys. We are about to do something insane,” Lauren said in the video. “We said that we were done having kids, like, I don’t know, a couple years ago? But I think we’re going to do it one more time,” she added.

Arie and Lauren went on to say that Arie had his vasectomy reversed.

Arie and Lauren are parents to Alessi, 5, and twins, Lux and Senna, 3.

Fans Reacted to Arie & Lauren Luyendyk’s Video & Some Think Lauren’s Already Pregnant

Shortly after the Luyendyks uploaded their big news to YouTube, someone shared it on Reddit where dozens of fans reacted.

“I have been following them on IG for a few years. To me this wasn’t shocking. I really think they are the best bachelor couple. I wonder how long the recovery is when you reverse it???? When can you really start the process??? She may already be pregnant but only in her 1st trimester. She doesn’t look it yet!!! I am hoping for a boy for Lux!!!” one person wrote.

“I figured this was coming as not so long ago she mentioned she missed being pregnant! They do seem like very good, hands on, present parents, so honestly good for them. I know they’re not fan favourites, but I appreciate they’ll way they are with their kids as opposed to other influencer/celebrities who seem to ship them off from nanny to baby and only use them for content (yes I know they use them too, but I find they do it less than others and are obviously very loving and present parents),” someone else said.

At least one other person pointed out there was a first day of school banner in the background of the video, which suggests it was filmed back in August or September. This could mean that Lauren is already pregnant and that another big announcement is coming soon.

Arie Luyendyk Previously Expressed Having Doubts About His Vasectomy

Back in May 2024, Arie did a Q&A on his Instagram Stories. At least one fan asked him if he and Lauren were thinking about having more kids in the future.

“A year ago I would have said 100% no way but I’m feeling more and more like I rushed the vasectomy. Don’t know just yet what the future holds but [right now] I’m loving this stage with them,” he responded.

Meanwhile, Lauren expressed something similar when she was asked if she felt as though her family was “complete.”

“This is such a hard question for me… I told Arie to get a vasectomy reversal the other day. But then we have super hard days sometimes with the kids and then I sort of question it,” she replied on her own Instagram Stories.

“I don’t know. I think I might want one more, but just wait a little,” she said at the time.
