Leah Messer Spoke About Filming ‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’ Season 2 in a May 2024 Interview

During a May 2024 interview with People magazine, Messer spoke about filming the second season of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,” alongside Ali, Aleeah, and her youngest daughter, Adalynn.

According to Messer, the show’s second season “has probably been one of the most difficult seasons for [her].” She explained that she had difficulty trying to mend her relationship with her father, Gary Lee Miller, while filming for season 2.

“I work on rebuilding a relationship with my father and then figuring out how to allow him and know when to allow him to build a relationship with Ali, Aleeah and Adalynn,” said Messer to the publication.

Messer clarified that the strife paid off.

“I think that it was difficult for me to open up, but once I did, it allowed us all to rebuild,” said Messer during the People magazine interview.
