‘Teen Mom’ Star Confirms He Is Engaged on Social Media

“Teen Mom” star Ryan Edwards confirmed he proposed to Amanda Conner, who he began dating in September 2023.

On January 12, Edwards took to his Instagram account to share his proposal video. In the clip, Conner approached Edwards while he was sitting with loved ones, including his 16-year-old son Bentley, mothered by his ex-girlfriend Maci Bookout, around a fire pit. Once Conner got closer, Edwards got down on one knee on the snow-covered ground and opened a ring box. Conner responded by laughing and nodding. Edwards then slipped the ring on her finger and kissed her.

Edwards paired the social media video with the song “Take Forever (Hally’s Song)” by Cooper Alan.

Fans Congratulated the Couple for Their Engagement

Several fans congratulated the couple in the Instagram post’s comments section.

“Oh my GODDDDDD!!! CONGRATS!!!! We NEED a wedding special!!! I love you and Amanda. You found your person!!!” wrote a commenter.

Amanda Conner & Ryan Edwards Are Expecting a Child

Conner and Edwards announced that they will soon have their first child together in October 2024. Conner is already a mother to an 11-year-old son, Brandon. Besides Bentley, Edwards is also a father to children, Jagger and Stella, mothered by his estranged wife, Mackenzie Standifer.

While speaking to People magazine in October 2024, Conner said she and Edwards “are very excited about [their] pregnancy.”

“We have overcome so much in the last year and a half, and we are in a very happy, safe place,” continued Conner.

During an October 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Conner shared how she and Edwards are planning on raising their daughter. She said she wants to be transparent about her and her now fiance’s past struggles with addiction.

“Honesty is one of my biggest things, honest about who you are, about who me and Ryan are, I want to be honest about that, I don’t want to hide anything from her,” said Conner to Us Weekly.

In addition, she said while she does not “want to be a helicopter mom,” she does not “want [their] child to go through anything that [they have] had to go through.”

“I just want her to be very open to the world, but strong-minded about certain things,” said Conner during the Us Weekly interview.
