Maci Bookout Gives Her Opinion About Ex Ryan Edwards’ Fiancée

“Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” star Maci Bookout has nothing but praise for her ex-fiancé Ryan Edwards and his fiancée, Amanda Conner.

While speaking to E! News in January 2025, Bookout said she is “very close friends” with Conner. According to Bookout, she has “really great energy” and “very authentic.” Bookout also appreciates that Conner “loves and cares” both Edwards and their 16-year-old son, Bentley.

Bookout also said all her children enjoy Conner and her son, Brandon, 11.

“Bentley really enjoys her. Even my other two kids, they love her and her son, so having her around has been wonderful,” said Bookout to E! News.

Bookout also told the publication that she and Edwards “are still doing really well” in terms of co-parenting Bentley. She said her relationship with Edwards improved after he decided to get sober.

“I honestly think it’s gotten here because there was no pressure. We’ve let it naturally take its course and just our communication’s better,” said Bookout to E! News.

Maci Bookout Thinks Ryan Edwards’ Current Relationship Has Been ‘a Real Blessing for Bentley’

While speaking to In Touch in January 2025, Bookout said she thinks Edwards and Conner are “fantastic together.” She also suggested she believes that this is the first time Edwards has been in a loving relationship.

“But also, it’s a real blessing for Bentley to be able to see someone love his dad,” said Bookout to the publication. “I don’t think that he has ever been able to actually witness his dad be in real true love and be, you know, taken care of and respected and loved. And to also see his dad be able to give that back. So I love them together.”

Ryan Edwards & Amanda Conner Are Expecting a Baby Girl

During an October 2024 interview with Us Weekly, Conner confirmed she and Edwards are expecting “a little girl.” While speaking to the publication, Conner shared how she and her fiance intend to raise their child. She said that she wants her child to be honest. In addition, she said that she is “going to be very cautious” when raising her daughter.

“I don’t want to be a helicopter mom, but I don’t want our child to go through anything that we’ve had to go through. I just want her to be very open to the world, but strong-minded about certain things,” said Conner during the Us Weekly interview.

“Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” season 2B starts airing on January 30.
