‘Teen Mom’ Star Confirms She Will Not Appear in Upcoming Season

“Teen Mom” star Jenelle Evans confirmed she will not appear in the upcoming 3rd season of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.”

During a December 28 TikTok Live, uploaded on the TeenMomChatter Instagram page, Evans said “MTV has decided not to use for [her] for this season,” which will premiere on January 30. As fans are aware, Evans returned to the “Teen Mom” franchise for the second season of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” after a five-year absence.

Evans also teased she would give fans more information about the situation in a different social media upload.

“There’s a big quote that I’m going to put out in a video. And I’ll explain it. But yeah, not doing that this year,” said Evans in the TikTok video.

She also said she has “stuff coming up in the future,” specifically working on her cannabis business, which was featured in “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” season 2.

Evans said she did not know if she would star in “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” again after the show’s 2nd season during a September 27 TikTok video.

“Honestly, I have no idea,” said Evans in her social media video.

In addition, Evans said she and her family, which includes her three children Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley, filmed scenes for season 2 that “did not come out in last season.” She said she wished fans got to see all of “a really important conversation” she had with Jace in season 2, episode 15.

“I know you guys saw like 30 seconds of it. But really, it was a lot longer than that. And a lot more in-depth than that,” said Evans.

In a different December 2024 TikTok Live, alongside Evans, Evans’ boyfriend, August Keen, shared positive traits about his girlfriend. Keen said some fans may not know that Evans is giving and generous. As an example, Keen said Evans “donated an [expletive] ton of stuff” to those affected by Hurricane Helene.

“She never talks about that. And I find that to be super commendable and I like that about her character. She does a lot of good [expletive]. And she doesn’t speak on it. Shout out to Jenelle for being cute like that,” said Keen.

Keen also commented on rumors that he is dating Evans for her money. He noted that he has been a manager to several celebrities, including Evans.

“I don’t need Jenelle to be rich and powerful. I was rich and powerful before I even met Jenelle,” said Keen.
