“Teen Mom” star Cheyenne Floyd shared a heartfelt tribute to the city of Altadena, California following the devastating destruction due to the Eaton fire.
On January 13, Floyd took to her Instagram account and shared several images of buildings and homes in Altadena on fire. In the caption of the post, Floyd said “Altadena raised [her].”
“My city is gone, and my heart is broken. To say my family is devastated is an understatement. The homes where we built so many memories, our church, the schools, and the businesses we’ve loved and supported for years are no longer standing,” wrote Floyd.
She then said she had seen the residents of Altadena come together amid heartbreak.
“Yet, in the midst of so much hurt, I’ve witnessed my city fight and come alive in ways that feel almost impossible. We will rebuild,” continued Floyd in her caption.
In addition, Floyd expressed gratitude to those who have donated to individuals who have been affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. She also noted that she set up an Amazon wishlist for those in need because of the fires.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out, sent love, offered prayers, supported GoFundMe links, and shopped from our Amazon wishlist. With over 1,600 purchases and counting, your generosity has been overwhelming and heartwarming. It’s truly amazing,” wrote Floyd.
Floyd also encouraged her social media followers to “continue to shop the list, love on your people, and check on your people.”
