Chelsea DeBoer Shares Eldest Daughter Aubree’s Latest Milestone

Former “Teen Mom” star Chelsea DeBoer shared that her 15-year-old daughter, Aubree went to her first dance. On December 7, DeBoer shared two pictures of Aubree getting her hair done by her long-time friend, Landon Jacobsen-Blow, before heading off to the dance on her Instagram Stories.

“Doing Aubree’s hair for her first dance,” captioned DeBoer.

A Reddit user shared DeBoer’s Instagram Stories on the “Teen Mom” subreddit. Several social media users commented they appreciated that Jacobsen-Blow styled Aubree’s hair for the special occasion.

“How cute for Landon to have known her as a little baby and now doing her hair for her first dance (‘:,” wrote a commenter.

“Aw that’s awesome!!! I was wondering if Chelsea and Landon were still friends 🥰,” shared another.

“It’s crazy that she’s old enough for her first dance. This is such a sweet moment,” added a different person.

While speaking to E! News in March 2023, DeBoer, who first appeared on “16 and Pregnant” in 2009, said she appreciated that fans of the “Teen Mom” franchise are still interested in her and Aubree.

“It’s so heartwarming for me. Because they genuinely did care about me and Aubree and our life,” said DeBoer to the publication.

She also noted that some fans are surprised when they realize Aubree is a teenager.

“I think it’s just shocking for them to see like she is a teenager now. And what does that mean for us? Like are we old now? Like all of us,” said DeBoer during the E! News interview.

In addition, DeBoer shared that she is a fan of her eldest daughter’s personal style.

“I love that she has her own style and that she’s confident,” said DeBoer.

Chelsea DeBoer Shared She Feels Relieved That She Is No Longer on ‘Teen Mom’

DeBoer and her husband, Cole DeBoer, the father of her three younger children, Watson, Layne, and Walker, have starred on their own HGTV series, “Down Home Fab,” since 2023. In a January 2023 interview with Entertainment Tonight, DeBoer, who left “Teen Mom 2” in 2019, said she felt relieved to be filming for HGTV, instead of the “Teen Mom” franchise.

“To say that the hugest weight has been lifted off my shoulders – I can’t even describe it enough. Like I feel so proud of the show,” said DeBoer to Entertainment Tonight. “And to share the show, like there were times where I would be so nervous about ‘Teen Mom’ airing, because I would feel guilty, did I share too much? Did I share something that should have been kept personal too my kids. And I don’t feel that at all. I feel proud. You still do get to see a little bit of the kids. But I feel like it’s very light hearted.”
