Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Zoë Dale and NFL kicker Cade York are officially husband and wife.

Per The U.S. Sun, the couple celebrated their wedding on Saturday, July 5, at Verona Villa in Frisco, Texas, marking a festive Fourth of July weekend milestone filled with love, tradition, and standout dance moves.

A Cheer-Ful Celebration

“A lifetime of us!! 🦢✨,” the couple captioned one carousel of wedding photos on Instagram. In another post from the newlyweds included the Bible verse Ruth 1:16-17: ‘Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay.’”

The bride looked radiant in a strapless, full-skirted ball gown with a flowing train and delicate veil, while the groom stood out in a tailored light brown suit that brought a modern, elegant touch to the classic ceremony setting.

The event brought together family, friends, and fellow Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and featured a memorable performance of the DCC’s signature “Thunderstruck” routine — a long-standing tradition for brides on the team.

According to photos and videos shared on social media, Dale was also joined by several fellow Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders—dressed in formalwear and waving pom poms—as they recreated the squad’s signature pregame routine to AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.” Dale, still in her wedding gown, led the high-energy performance with grace, surrounded by bridesmaids and teammates in a moment that blended elegance with team spirit.

Among those cheering Dale on were fellow cheerleaders Reece Weaver, Amanda Howard, and Anna Kate Sundvold, who left heartfelt messages on the couple’s Instagram post. Howard called it the “sweetest wedding” and gushed, “y’all are a beautiful couple,” while Sundvold described it as “the most beautiful wedding.” Weaver simply summed up the occassion as “the most perfect day.”

Per People, performing “Thunderstruck” has become a beloved wedding-day tradition for Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders past and present.

A Relationship Rooted in Football

York, who played college football at Louisiana State University, was drafted in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. He joined the Cincinnati Bengals roster in 2024.

Dale is currently in her second season as a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and previously shared on the DCC website that in 10 years she hopes to be “married to my best friend and have a family of my own,” per People.

The couple got engaged in March during a photo shoot, where York surprised Dale by getting down on one knee. The Instagram reveal drew an outpouring of support from Dale’s fellow cheerleaders, with Chandi Dayle commenting, “Crying this is beautiful,” and Darah Haidet adding, “Crying!! This is perfect and so sweet 🥹🤍.”

While the newlyweds have yet to share any details about their honeymoon plans, both regularly post glimpses into their relationship and personal lives on social media — so fans will have to stay tuned for what’s next.
