Hulk Hogans Last Wrestling Match Ever [VIDEO]

The unfortunate news broke on July 24 that WWE legend Hulk Hogan had passed away. As fans know, this came after the larger-than-life personality had endured years of health struggles. Following his death, many are recalling precious memories of Hulk, including his last televised wrestling match and his final fight overall.

Hulk Hogan’s Last Televised Match Was In 2011

Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Gene Bollea, began his wrestling career in 1977. However, he gained fame after signing with the then-WWF in 1983. Of course, he had a long and storied career, but his final televised match came in 2011. Specifically, it took place on October 24 of that year in Philadelphia. The fight was TNA’s Bound For Glory.

Regarding the fight itself, Hulk Hogan went against Sting. Sadly, he was not victorious, but this is still a legendary moment in professional wrestling history. He was 58 years old at the time. According to Entertainment Weekly, Sting beat Hulk by using the technique. This came after it seemed Hulk Hogan would win.

After that, he remained a spokesperson for the WWE, but did not fight in a televised match afterward. He also appeared at WWE events in the years leading up to his death.

His Final Fight Overall Was In 2012

Hulk Hogan’s final wrestling match took place on January 27, 2012, at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, England. This was a six-man tag team match. According to Bloody Slam, it included James Storm, Sting, Bobby Roode, Bully Ray, and Kurt Angle. Hogan’s team won the match.

He Leaves Behind a Massive Legacy

Naturally, Hulk Hogan is most known as a professional wrestler. However, he also branched out into other forms of entertainment. Notably, he embraced the reality television genre before it became a mainstream phenomenon.

“Hogan Knows Best” premiered on VH1 in 2005 and quickly became a hit. The show followed the lives of Hulk and his family, Linda, Nick, and Brooke. However, the show ended in 2007 after its fourth season on the air.

Those looking to stream the show for free are out of luck. However, they can purchase it from platforms like Apple TV and Prime Video. If it ever comes to streaming, it seems likely Paramount+ would have it since VH1 is a Viacom network.

Regarding his death, according to TMZ, Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24 in Clearwater, Florida. The medics were called to his home and were told he’d suffered a cardiac event. Sadly, he passed away at a nearby hospital.
