David Beckham Tries To Smile While in a Hospital Bed

The picture shows David in a hospital gown. He is wearing a blue sling on his arm, and he appears to be trying to smile through his pain. The text overlay on the picture reads, “Get well soon daddy,” followed by a white heart emoji. David is a father to four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

Following this image, Victoria posted a second one, this time of a friendship bracelet spelling out the words “get well soon.” David is holding it, and he appears to be lying in bed (in the left corner of the photo, his foot can be seen sticking out from under a duvet cover).

Victoria did not give more information about what was happening in the pictures or what health issues David is facing, but fans are curious to learn more. Because they cannot react publicly on the former Spice Girls star’s Instagram Story, they have taken to X to share their well-wishes and ask their questions. “Victoria Beckham shared an instagram story of her beloved David Beckham!! What’s happened Becks??!! Get well soon Sir!” a fan wrote.

However, the answer to David’s health may be that he underwent surgery for an old injury, dating back to May 2003. The soccer star, who was the former England captain, broke his wrist in a “friendly match against South Africa” when the two countries met in 2003, The Telegraph reports. The surgery was to correct this, as the old injury was still causing David pain.

Is David Beckham Getting Better?

Whatever happened to David appears to have been recent, as evidenced by his posting a video of himself gardening earlier this week. The Instagram post, from June 21, shows him tending to his carrots. In the caption, he shared his thoughts, writing, “Exciting day today in my veggie garden, CARROTS but not exactly what I expected, but to be fair, it had Lady Beckham laughing @victoriabeckham sorry about my carrot.”

The former soccer player also appears to be on the mend, as evidenced by his recent activity on social media, where he posted three times on his Instagram Story just one hour ago. The post is about Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka, who has signed on to be a part of IM8 Health.

David co-founded the supplement company, and he is celebrating the win of having signed a sports superstar like Sabalenka.
