“Kristoff” is a personal project for Randy Goodwin, who was St. John’s close friend and one-time roomate.
“Kristoff was more than just an incredibly talented actor. He was one of my closest friends, my brother. This documentary is both a heartfelt tribute and a truthful exploration of the amazing, complex person he was. With Bobby Razak directing, we’re confident this story will be portrayed with the emotional honesty and artistic vision Kristoff deserves,” Goodwin shared on Instagram.
Kristoff’s ex-wife, Mia St. John, is also closely involved in the documentary. According to Deadline, “Kristoff” is scheduled for an early 2026 release, and a biopic on the late actor is also in the works.
