John Stamos Mourns ‘General Hospital’ Star Tristan Rogers: ‘He Was Kind to Me’

Tributes for “General Hospital” star Tristan Rogers have been pouring in since his death was announced on Friday, August 15. He was 79. Social media has been flooded with condolences and remembrance for Rogers, and one of the latest celebrities to honor Rogers is John Stamos.


John Stamos Makes a Heartfelt Tribute to Tristan Rogers

Stamos appeared on “General Hospital” as Blackie Parrish from 1982 to 1984, and the actor reflected on the experience in an Instagram post. He also shared several photos from the time.

“Heartbroken to hear about Tristan Rogers. He was so much fun to work with on @generalhospitalabc A true character,” Stamos reflected. “Tristan always had that sparkle in his eye that made me smile, and he was a damn good actor. More than that, he was kind to me when I was young, and I never forgot it.”

He also shared photos from his last day on set, including a picture of himself posing with Rogers, and another image of himself, Rogers, Demi Moore, and his mother. “Grateful I got to share time with him. Rest easy, Tristan,” Stamos ended his message.

He was just a genuinely loyal, kind human being, and he loved his family.”
