‘General Hospital’ Recap for July 24: Willow Finds Out Nina and Drew’s Secret

GH has been building up to the wedding that no one wants to see happen all week long, and now it’s finally imminent. But will Drew and Willow marry? Today’s episode certainly has their future hanging in the balance. Additionally, Portia is ready to resign, and Sonny issues a warning to Marco.

Let’s jump into a full recap of the Thursday, July 24, 2025, episode of “General Hospital.”

Sonny Issues a Warning to Marco and Lucas

Sonny arrives at the Metro Court pool just in time to catch Carly. He tells her that her brother, Lucas, turned him over to the police because Marco was missing. Carly is horrified by this bit of information, but relieved to hear that Marco surfaced. She then asks if this means that things with Sidwell have calmed down and the family is now safe. Michael, who has brought Wylie to the pool for swimming lessons, overhears and wants to know the answer. Sonny says that he and Sidwell have come to an agreement.

Michael also points out that it is Willow and Drew’s wedding day, and he isn’t sure how to inform Wylie. Sonny believes that Drew took advantage of Michael’s injury and that if Michael hadn’t been hurt, things would have turned out much differently with Willow. Carly also still insists that Drew has manipulated Willow.

Lucas and Marco enjoyed a night together and have come down to the pool for some sun. Marco decides to go back upstairs when he sees Sonny. Lucas walks over to Sonny and thanks him for sending him the key to free Marco. Sonny then warns Lucas to never ever go to the cops about him again. Carly then gets to Lucas and tells him that he has absolutely no idea what is really going on because he is only focused on Marco.

Speaking of Marco, Sonny knocks on his door and tells him to stay out of his way.

Portia Tells Curtis That She Is Resigning

Curtis stops to see Portia at her office at GH. He wants to know why she never came home the night before, and she explains that she figures it was her last night as a doctor. She is ready to resign, and she asked Trina to meet them so that she can tell her everything. Curtis tells Portia that he believes he can get Willow to back out of the wedding, and without Willow, Drew will likely no longer see Portia as useful for blackmail. She agrees to wait one more day before going to the hospital board.

Trina arrives after having a useless conversation with Kai in the hallway. He loves her but doesn’t understand how betraying her whole family is a dealbreaker. Trina fills her parents in, and then Curtis makes a quick exit. Trina asks Portia what is going on, and she tells her that she has no idea.

Someone Blows Up Willow’s World

It is finally Willow and Drew’s wedding day, and the bride and her wedding party are getting ready at All Saints Chapel. Several conversations are had, like Willow thanking her mom, Nina, for insisting she hold out for a real wedding, and Liz taking care of all the little details. Alexis arrives with Scout, who has a gift for Willow, a framed photo of them together. Scout asks if she should call Willow mom, as Alexis shudders. Willow tells her that she can call her whatever she wants to, and that she’s there to support and love Scout. Alexis looks relieved by her response.

Nina and Liesl steal a moment to discuss the doomed marriage, and as Nina walks away, she starts to replay different things that have happened through her mind. She realizes that it is Willow who was messing with baby Daisy, and starts to hyperventilate. Nina runs out into the chapel, where Ava finds her. Nina explains that she thinks Willow scared Sasha out of the country and then vows to bring everything to an end. She says she has reached her breaking point as she storms out.

Willow is about to put on her wedding dress, and Curtis storms in. Before she can even catch her breath, he tells her that last summer, as Drew was trying to win her heart, he was also sleeping with her mother, Nina!
