The week has just begun, and “General Hospital” already has us hanging on the edge of our seats! Literal fireworks aren’t the most enormous explosions going off in Port Charles, and the drama shows no signs of letting up.
Let’s check out what the spoilers are teasing for the Tuesday, July 8, episode of “General Hospital.”
Cody and Molly or Cody and Ava?
ABCAccording to the spoilers, Mac is playing matchmaker for someone. Is he trying to set up Cody with Molly? The two have formed an unlikely friendship, and there are some sparks between them, but the timing might be a little bit off. The new teasers suggest that Cody is furthering his plan, which is likely to involve seducing Ava for financial gain. “I’m all yours,” he tells a surprised Ava in the new promo. We also see Ava confiding in her bestie, Nina. Is it about her blossoming friendship with Cody?
Brook Lynn and Lulu Clash Over Double Standards
ABCLulu’s hypocrisy is showing on “General Hospital.” She had no problem digging up Brook Lynn’s secret teenage pregnancy and sharing the details with anyone who would listen. The fallout has been immense, leaving BLQ, Dante, and their biological son, Gio, all reeling. Brook Lynn returned the favor by getting Lulu’s son Rocco’s medical records and planned a bit of revenge, but then stopped because she didn’t want to hurt the teenage boy.
Unfortunately, Danny found Rocco’s file and gave it to him, giving Lulu and Dante no choice but to explain his birth story. Now that Lulu’s son is the one who is hurt, she is gunning for BLQ, whom she found at the boathouse. After smacking her across the face for spilling the details to Rocco, even via a hidden folder, the irony is not lost on Brook Lynn.. “Interesting double standard, you hypocrite,” she spits out at Lulu.
Rocco gets Jason to come see him at Lulu’s home, where he says to Danny’s father, “Tell me everything you know about Britt Westbourne.” Jason is stunned by the request.
Does Kristina Finally Grasp the Mistakes She Has Made?
ABCSpoilers for today show Alexis in a deep conversation with her youngest daughter, Kristina. “This time, I finally went too far,” Kristina admits to her mother. Could it be that Kristina is finally beginning to understand just how incredibly destructive her behavior has been for the last year?
Liz and Portia have been threatening to catch up for a while, and it looks like that chat is finally about to happen. Portia’s marriage is in trouble, and Liz just let Lucky leave for a summer trip with their son. She also has some unresolved feelings for Ric, who has been checking on her daily. It’s not a surprise when he appears while they are talking.
Who Took Baby Daisy?
ABCMarco is still reeling from his mother, Natalia’s, unexpected death and may be looking to his father to make some sense of things. “In so doing, she sealed her fate,” Jenz tells him. In doing what, though? Telling people about Sonny’s heart problem?
Sasha goes to check on her daughter and finds Daisy’s crib empty. She sees Michael and blurts out, “Michael, someone took our daughter!”
