The fireworks were the least of the explosions happening in Port Charles today! Lulu and Dante had to come clean to Rocco, Anna confronted Sidwell, and someone took baby Daisy from her crib. Here is a full recap of “General Hospital” for Monday, July 7, 2025.
Lulu and Dante Tell Rocco the Truth
ABCTime has flown by in the months since Lulu woke from her coma. There has been a lot of drama swirling around her, and some of the things that should have been handled got pushed to the back burner, like Rocco’s birth story. While at the Q’s, Danny and Rocco stumbled onto a file that Brook Lynn had with his name on it. It included two birth certificates, and from what he read, he believed that Britt Westbourne was his birth mother.
Rocco demanded the truth from Lulu, who then called Dante. Once he arrived, they told Rocco the truth, that they had done in vitro and had embryos saved. Britt stole one and ended up delivering Rocco. When Lulu and Dante went back to the doctor, they realized that one of their embryos was missing and eventually got Rocco when he was seven months old.
Rocco is furious and thinks that this situation is just like Gio’s. He believes that his parents didn’t want him and that his actual birth was just a fluke. He asks for time to process things and goes to his room. Lulu then storms off to visit Brook Lynn.
Sasha and Michael Share a Moment With Daisy
ABCCody arrives at the Quartermaines to find Sasha with baby Daisy. She thanks him for listening the other day and says that maybe exhaustion or mommy brain has been messing with her. Cody is glad to hear that there have been no other strange occurrences with her newborn. She is attributing it to all the changes she has undergone lately and believes she hasn’t been thinking clearly.
Sasha takes Daisy upstairs for bed, and Michael follows. He tells her that she is a great mom and then helps to get their child dressed for bed.
Anna Speaks With Both Sidwell and Sonny
ABCAnna takes a trip out to Wyndemere to see Sidwell, who is furious that she would question him in connection with Natalia’s death. He asks the commissioner if she knows that Sonny has a heart condition, to which she responds that she does not. Sidwell tells her that Natalia told him about it, and God knows who else. That makes her Sonny’s loose end, not his.
Meanwhile, at PCPD, Sonny is in an interrogation room with Laura, who refuses to end their friendship. She stands by him, even though it’s not always the best look for her. As the two get up to hug, Ezra Boyle walks in rolling live video, not realizing that he is committing a crime. He is taken into custody, and Anna walks in. She says that Natalia’s cause of death was a lethal mix of drugs and alcohol. They don’t know if it was intentional, but it’s not murder so Sonny is free to leave.
Back at Sidwell’s, Marco arrives and tells his father that Corinthos is free. Sidwell reiterates that he has a plan for Sonny.
The Metro Court Pool Is Hopping
ABCGio is working as much as possible at the Metro Court pool. Emma visits, and he tells her that he is wrestling with his thoughts about Sonny. Is he the guy who has been so great to him, or is he the bad guy that Tracy warned him of? Emma suggests he talk to someone close to Sonny, and nods towards Carly. Gio approaches her and asks to talk about Sonny.
Carly sits with Gio and tells him that both Michael and Dante have had the same questions that he is now having. Sonny is both things. He is highly protective of and loyal to his family, despite having committed some terrible acts. He made choices early in his life, before he knew better, and has had to live with the consequences. She also suggests that Gio talk to one of Sonny’s other sons.
Also at the pool, Vaughn and Joss are devising a plan for him to get on good terms with Emma. If he distracts Emma, then Joss can get the info on Dalton that they need. The stage is set for a loud fight that looks like a breakup, and in swoops Emma with a drink and a shoulder to cry on. Vaughn plays her and they end up bonding over animals.
Fireworks at the Boathouse
ABCMichael and Brook Lynn are at the boathouse setting up for the Fourth of July fireworks party. He tells her about his run-in with Willow at the pool, and BLQ admits that she almost stooped to Lulu’s level, but stopped herself. Cody then arrives, and he and Brook Lynn finally make up. He was angry because, by lying to him, he ended up being complicit in her lies to Dante. She understands and explains that she turned to him on one of the hardest days of her life because she trusted him.
Michael and Sasha return, and the four hang out together as the fireworks start. Sasha then hears Daisy cry through the monitor and goes to check on her. When she gets to the crib, her baby is gone.
Meanwhile, Cody and Michael go to get more beer, and Lulu arrives furious with BLQ. When Lulu’s child is involved, there are boundaries, and she hauls off and punches Brook Lynn in the face.
