The explosion that GH fans have been waiting for has finally happened. Guests of Drew and Willow’s wedding got the best show that Port Charles has put on all year. Let’s jump right into a recap of “General Hospital” for Monday, July 28, 2025!
Kristina Tells Michael That She Tried to Kill Ava
ABCMichael and Kristina have left Cody and Molly alone at the Metro Court pool. He asks her to pick up where she left off with applying sunscreen to his back, and Molly refuses. She thinks of Kristina’s warning about Cody and then accuses him of just wanting her hands on him. Molly says that she isn’t going to drool all over Cody the way that Ava has. She also adds that she thinks that Ava’s reactions are inappropriate because she is supposed to be dating Ric.
Cody picks up Molly’s book and finds a romance novel hidden inside a copy of Tolstoy. He starts reading out loud from the trashy novel, but Molly holds her ground and says that she loves romance. She calls this book research for one that she is working on. She leaves the pool, but not before telling Cody to get a mole on his back checked.
Meanwhile, Kristina and Michael arrive at Alexis’ house for a serious chat. She ends up explaining that she hired Cody to seduce Ava as a means of breaking up her relationship with Ric. When Michael asks why, his sister comes clean, she explains about trying to cut Ava’s brakes, but getting Ric’s car instead, nearly killing him and Liz. Kristina continues, telling Michael that both Ava and Ric know and have been extorting her mother, Alexis. Michael says that she has dug herself a huge hole, but he will help her figure out how to get out of it.
As they talk, Alexis breezes in the door with Scout and tells them all about the wedding.
Brennan Warns Joss About Catching Fake Feelings
ABCBrennan has called Josslyn into his office. He wants to know how her mission with Vaughn went. Joss tells him that they planted a tracker on the courier’s backpack and watched her board a flight to Croatia. He then tells her that something Carly said to him has him worried. Josslyn’s mother mentioned that she is dating Vaughn, and Brennan wants clarity. Joss reminds him that he was the one who told her and Vaughn to make people believe that they are a couple. Brennan warns her to make sure that her feelings are fake, because Vaughn’s most certainly are.
As they speak, he gets an update on the tracker, which is at an exclusive resort called The Five Poppies. Seconds after the update arrives, the tracker becomes completely lost. Brennan hopes that the signal has just weakened and hasn’t been detected and removed.
We then see the courier walking with the backpack into a lab of some kind where Britt is waiting for her.
Meanwhile, Carly and Jason are hanging out with Wylie, who is upset because his mother is marrying Drew. Carly explains the situation to him as gently as possible, and once Wylie leaves, Jason praises her. They discuss how the situation reminds them of keeping Michael from AJ, and how they hope that Wylie grows up to be as well-adjusted.
Jason and Carly then discuss Britt and how he needs to be sure that she is really dead. He eventually finds Obrecht and sits down to have a drink with her.
Willow Destroys Drew at the Altar
ABCWillow has made her way down the aisle at All Saints’ and joins Drew at the altar. She takes his hand as he begins to recite his vows to her, saying that she has made him a better man and that their families are united. He promises that they will get custody of Wylie and Amelia back and live happily ever after. When it’s Willow’s turn to say her vows, she lets go of Drew’s hands and demands to know if he slept with her mother.
Drew tries to get out of it, then calls it a one-time encounter. He tells Willow that he never had feelings for Nina and was doing what she wanted, and trying to stay away from her so he wouldn’t compromise her marriage to Michael. When Drew sounds like he is almost blaming her for his fling with Nina, Willow flips out. She tells him that he destroyed her marriage and that everyone warned her about him. She now sees that every time she listened to Drew, she was giving Michael more reasons to keep her kids away.
Willow then realizes that Drew set up Wylie to overhear him saying that Michael didn’t want him, and he admits it, calling it a strategy for court. She yells that his lie hurt her son, and Willow storms out. After she leaves, Drew tries to follow, but Nina jumps up and blocks him. The two have a vicious fight in front of the stunned audience that was there for the wedding. Once Nina gets outside, she realizes that Willow’s car is gone.
Willow arrives at Carly’s and pounds on her door. When she opens it she tells her that she didn’t marry Drew and wants to see her children.
