The moment that “General Hospital” viewers have been waiting for has finally arrived. Willow has finally woken up to the realization that she fully imploded every aspect of her life for absolutely nothing. Watching her blast Drew for his lies while standing at the altar in front of their loved ones brought a particular kind of satisfaction, and watching Willow continue to break down as she realizes the ripple effect of her mistake has been nothing short of shocking.
The main question now is what comes next. Rory Gibson, who plays Michael Corinthos, recently shared his thoughts on the topic with Michael Fairman.
Could Michael Take Willow Back?

Willow’s first stop after fleeing the church was to her former mother-in-law’s house. Carly opened the door to find weeping Willow, still in her wedding dress, with her makeup rolling down her face. She hysterically begged and demanded to see her children, and when Michael arrived, he told her to leave. Willow’s instability is what has caused him to keep their kids away from her, and this moment hasn’t made things any better. Michael has, himself, said that he isn’t sure if she should ever be around Wylie and Amelia again.
Willow also suggested to Michael that she could slide right back into the family as if she never left him for his Uncle Drew. While that sounds wild, it’s not out of the question on GH.
“I think there’s a very real possibility. Even though the things that they’re going through are insane, and it seems like they’re only getting pushed further and further apart, I can’t play the scenes the way that they should be played without realizing that there’s love there,” explains Gibson.
Michael Still Loves Willow in Spite of Everything

Michael and Willow once shared a happy, albeit a bit boring, relationship. Their family was what mattered the most, and it is what helped them to overcome every obstacle before the current mess. Michael also realizes that his ex isn’t a horrible person. Something is making her very mentally unstable, and that isn’t necessarily her fault.
“Whenever I go into those really intense scenes with Katie [MacMullen], I always keep that in mind where it’s like, ‘Hey, you once really, truly, deeply loved this person. That’s not going to go away no matter what happens. It’s a human reaction. You’re going to hold on to that forever regardless of what they do,” says Gibson.
“You can be mad at them. You can be upset at them. Your dynamics and relationship can change, but in a sense that love will always be there.”
Will Willow and Michael ever reunite? Would you even want to see it happen?
