‘Days of Our Lives’ Heats Up With New Summer Trailer

Summer has barely begun, and already “Days of Our Lives” is giving us something great to look forward to. The show dropped its summer trailer, and it’s clear that there is going to be loads of drama leading up to Days 60th anniversary.

Here is a breakdown of what is to come this summer on “Days of Our Lives.”

The Truth About EJ’s Shooting

Sophia gives birth this week, and it seems to be all downhill from there. She is back to all of her old tricks, and both Leo and Javi will be sucked into her lies.

Then comes the kidnappings, stabbing attempts, stunning alliances, and courtroom drama. Half of Salem is to be dragged into Johnny’s trial. In the promo clip, we see Paulina on the stand, Belle and EJ are facing off, and Rachel is regretting something. Also, the person who knows everything about EJ’s shooting will come as a complete surprise to many.

Titan comes under fire, leaving Xander and Philip in a bit of trouble. That isn’t Xander’s only problem either. He and Sarah are at war over the custody of their daughter. Despite their lawyers advising them to go for joint custody, Sarah has put her ex in his place, and she’s not backing down. That means Xander has dug his feet in and is ready for a battle.

Marlena’s Health Takes a Turn and Stefano Is Involved

Marlena has been struggling since the death of her beloved John Black. She hasn’t felt well, which was initially chalked up to the grief that she is navigating. Now we learn there is more to it, and Stefano may somehow be involved.

It has also been the spring and summer of returns. John Black’s death and memorial service brought several beloved legacy characters back to Salem. Jack and Jen returned to spend time with their family. Bo emerged from a coma and reunited with Hope. He was able to say goodbye to John before renewing his vows with fancy face. Steve reflected on 40 years in Salem, and Carrie, Eric, Will, and Mike Horton all stopped by for a visit. It’s also the perfect time for the whole town to honor the legacy of Tom Horton.
