‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for Aug. 7: Johnny Takes the Stand

“Days of Our Lives” has dropped the spoilers for Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, and a lot is going on in Salem. Anna and Tony have a serious talk about Stefano, while Gabi and Xander are still bonding. Plus, Johnny finally takes the stand in his own defense.

The Days spoilers for Thursday tease that Alex is about to get into a fight after being confronted by Steve. They disagree about something, and that something is likely Stephanie.

Anna and Tony have a serious talk about Stefano. Do you think that he is alive? Surely, the powers that be at Days aren’t constantly bringing him up for nothing. Where do you think that they are going with this? A recast of the pivotal character has been rumored, but would Days fans ever accept that?

Either way, after talking, Tony hugs Anna, so her words didn’t cause any conflict for the couple.

Speaking of close people, Gabi continues opening up to Xander. What do you think that Days really has in mind for these two?

Johnny Takes the Stand in His Own Defense

Johnny is currently on trial for the attempted murder of his father. Ironically, his father, EJ, is not only standing by him, but he is also defending him. Johnny has also leaned heavily on his wife, Chanel, for support. The trial has been rough because Johnny has had to listen to others discuss his hatred for EJ. While it existed, he now realizes that his resentment was misplaced, but will the jury believe him?

Johnny takes the stand today in his own defense. He insists that he didn’t shoot his father on the night in question, but how will he convince anyone else of that? Especially after admitting that at one point in time, he may have hated EJ enough to shoot him.

As the DA, Belle is up next to question her nephew. She doesn’t actually believe that he shot EJ, but she still has a job to do. She and EJ lock horns in court, but he pulls a fast one that makes the judge furious. The spoilers for Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, tell us that Belle and EJ will end up behind closed doors alone.
